When is Chaosium coming back? Has anyone heard? It's been about 2 weeks, hasn't it?

About a week. I don't think I saw an ETA for a return in their update email.

Chaosium Inc. places great priority on ensuring the confidentiality of our customers' information.

As many of you know, there is a recently-disclosed internet security vulnerability named the Heartbleed Bug. Our server hosts immediately instituted a patch to block this vulnerability.

We are also taking this opportunity to work on upgrading the catalog software on our server—in advance of some major spring and summer releases. In the near future you will find our site down for a short time. Databases that have been in operation for some time have occasional need to get unkinked and refreshed, and we like to keep our software up-to-date.

As a matter of policy and as our preference, Chaosium does not store any credit card information on our site or in your account. We use a separate service, CRE Secure, to process credit cards and paypal payments.

However, from what we understand of the Heartbleed Bug, it is possible that hackers on susceptible systems might be able to access even encrypted information. As always, it is good policy to change your passwords for all accounts from time to time.

Do NOT change your passwords on chaosium.com now; the work we are doing might make it a pointless exercise. When the new site is up, we will send you an announcement email alerting you to that fact, and to remind you to change your passwords.

Thanks for stopping by
The Folks at Chaosium

In case anyone was curious about the email.

Have they gotten a new adress as well? Because I still only see the "we're upgrading"-page.

Anyone stuck with the old layout should flush their cache to get rid of the old version.

I already cleared my cache, and still see only the placeholder. P'raps the new version was just up for a bit of testing?

I think you're right, I'm still seeing the old page after clearing my cache and doing a hard page reload!

Anyone who wants a sneak peek at the site just go to www.chaosium.com/index.php

It's responsive! (Scales to your screen size ie, tablet, phone, etc.)

Well, working as a User Interface developer myself, redesigned a full website does take lots of time!

What the hell?

Site is up but what happened to the new look they were working on?

I guess it was taking sooooo long they scrapped it and went back to the script they were using beforehand??

www.chaosium.com is still not available. The catalog.chaosium.com is available if you have the direct link. My guess is they are still reworking it - and yes, it is a bit different and has some new features. Not sure, though, if I would order anything from it at the moment.
