Howevere, noticed my Magic World NPC files, all 5, have the wrong files attached and I can't seem to fix just yet. Won't let me upload PDFs...Will fix when able.Also noticed Trifletraxor fixed my big files so you can tell I am author! Yay! Gotta do some more screen grabs of the maps, place all the various docs into a single, convert it all to pdf, probably rework the docs a bit because they NEVER transfer to pdf correctly, re convert to pdf, and post.This took forever.Next, a quick fix for my The Mentalist book because it's essential to my current campaign, and finally start working on my guide to running a town/kingdom. I've been piecing this idea together for awhile and am excited to start real work on it! Main book is done but I decided to place all the maps in a second book that I'll post at the same time. This will make reading it and printing it (God forbid!) easier. Also chroniclers can pull up the map without showing spoilers.I also made Seperate images for each area, and there's a LOT of areas. 1 is a high res player copy (table top) and the other is a lower res DM copy with the room numbers listed.Should be posting it in the morning...or getting it to Trifletraxor to post as it's probably exceeding max upload size... Added a Spot Rule for using MP instead of fatigue as well.Exchanged the old D&D mental attack table with a new Mental Attack Matrix that is a direct descendant to MW attack matrix. Like it much better. The idea behind this book is management of resources and population for PCs leading everything from a small tribal village to a vast kingdom. Trying to give that pesky Apotheosis, that grants land and title, new respect. I've already started outlining different terrain types, features of each terrain, and possible resources for each feature. Kinda humorous is that as I'm typing it out I keep thinking of the first Warcraft with my lil orcs chopping down forests. "Ugh Ugh yous da boss!" tooley1chris Posted August 12, 2015 Author Share Posted August 12, 2015 Chugging along on this. I've been using a model of another game to develope the mechanics of kingdom building. Those familiar with the Civilization series of PC games will recognize a lot of the make up in this book. At least the sections involving terrain, features, resources, and improvements...as well as population growth. Can't imagine a more simple mechanic that still allows the "ruler" to be directly involved in expansion. This is just chapter one, tho. Still got a ways to go. Been thinking maybe I'll do Fiend Folio conversion next. Have also been thinking about a massive tome that covers all three monster books in one for easier reference. Maybe include some things others have asked for. A MW stat block set instead of the old-school style I used and POSSIBLY hit locations. This book has so many cool critters that I wish I had done this prior to the Mega Dungeon...Ah well...Am quite excited to get it done as I want to put together 1 massive book containing all 3 in 1 (Manual of Monsters I&II and Folio of Fiends) then a seperate book with just statblocks from all 3.
