As long promise, Charles' Gods of Law in the Young Kingdoms is now available for download at www.stormbringerrpg.com.

Edit - OPPPS! Looks like I've uploaded an incomplete copy. I will fix this tonight!

Please note that the new site was recently hacked, so if you notice anything odd, we'd love to know!

I've uploaded the wrong copy of the linked file!

Just an FYI... looks like your link to the document on the download page is broken or the file is missing. 'Tis complaining that the file doesn't exist on the server.

SDLeary

That's odd - I downloaded it from there here at work - which was how I knew I'd uploaded the wrong version :P

I'lll be home in an hour or so to fix!

Hurray.

FY, the link problem is the link has a double-space between "Young" and "Kingdom" but the document title does not.

Edit the link in your address bar and you're fine.

Binder, how many pages long should the document be? I have 96 pages...

Well it took a bit more than an hour, but the result - nevertheless - is that the correct copy of Charles Green's Gods of Law in the Young Kingsdoms is now up and available at - http://www.stormbringerrpg.com

Hey Steve, the correct copy is 112 pages in lenght and has bookmarks in the Table of Contents (plus other things like a hi-res cover image, etc.)

As always, comments are welcomed!

Updated the site (http://www.stormbringerrpg.com) with Michael Baumann & Matthew Hartley's excellent adventures - The Sands of Time and Shadows of the Past!

As always comments are welcome!

Another quick update - I have also installed a simple Forum on the site. It's a test to see if it is worth while, and it's there for site related news (i.e. I've started a thread with the SB RPG Books I still need to complete my collection).

Marcus,

Had a look at the forum, but couldn't see how to register.

Had a question I was going to post there. Have you got any plans to bring in 'When the Madcap laughs' as an adventure? It was published over 3 White Dwarf either 95-97 or 96 to 98. Not sure. Also can't remember who wrote it either. I have been scouring the internet for a copy with no luck so far.

Cheers

Damon

Hi Damon,

Had a look at the forum, but couldn't see how to register.

You can use a range of logins (I just tested this with my twitter and my Yahoo accounts!). You just have to click the 'Sign In' option on the top right of the forum. This allows you to register through your preferred app (i.e. from Facebook through Open ID, etc.)

Not unless someone comes to me (and they have the copyright). I know Stormbringer! is only a fan site, but I really want to ensure I jump on a few toes as possible...

Sorry,

Marcus,

Thanks for the advice. I mostly use a Blackberry and cannot sign in with it. Lots of blank spaces where presumably there may be some stuff to click on.

With regard to the other point. I have posted an enquiry on rpg.net regarding the author. If we can find him, we may be in luck.

"The Madcap Laughs" was written by Matt Williams. It was a four parter - issues 95 - 98.

Another thought for the StormbringerRPG site - contacting Shannon Appelcline and Loz to see if reprints of some of their old Elric/Stormbringer works could be put online. Shannon has written some pretty good stuff, some of it published in various magazines, and Loz has plenty of things - maybe some of the stuff published in the various Ye Booke of Tenctacles.

Maybe contact Richard Watts as well ...

Hey Ian,

I've pretty much got everything Richard Watts ever wrote for Elric/SB on one of my HDDs at home (we talk every know and then). One person I have followed up with is Mark Morrison. We have discussed getting some of his SB material up online, but he's a busy man. I do have my eye on something special from him, however. He did, however, put me onto Malcolm of the Herald of Doom fame!

I've talked with Loz a few times about his older material, but I think he's recycling most of it back into his work with Mongoose (which is great as it gives some continuity to the games). Shannon, however I haven't thought about. I'll attempt to track him down.

Shannon has given his permission for you to put up the stuff he has written:

-------------------------------------------------

For the new site:

He's welcome to host the Chaosium Digest stuff I individually wrote.

He's welcome to either link my recent AP or host a copy of it. Just the stuff I wrote in that thread, of course:

http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=255803

If he wants to more generally host the complete Chaosium Digest, he should ask the current administrator:

http://chaos-digest.blogspot.com/

If he can't get in contact with him after a reasonable amount of time (say, a couple of weeks), I'd be happy to then give permission for the complete archives of what I edited (but not the individual articles, as I can only give permission for mine, of course).

This is true. I'd rather keep control of the back catalogue for Mongoose projects rather than have electronic versions available that could contradict things I might want to do later.

First, congrats on moving on to a new job. It must be a great role to give an actual full-time job in the RPG industry! The best of luck! (oh, although I'm wondering whether I should approach Mat to see if he's looking for a replacement :P Jokes!)

Second, hopefully this might allow us to tap into your great archive of Elric creation for stormbringerrpg!

Cheers, Marcus

Hi All,

One of the projects I'm looking to kick off over the new year is to create a wiki of all things SB. As part of this I want to create (in part or full) the missing Atlases of the Young Kingdoms.

I have settled on Wikkawiki, and would like to create a custom theme for it. I know a bit of .css and .php but I'm not expert (more of a play and test the results sort of guy), and was wondering anyone on this forum would a) be interested in helping out or B) have the right skills to bounce changes off?

Feel free to PM or email me is you are interested.

Hey!

I've just released an update at http://www.stormbringerrpg.com/. Of most interest will be the reworked Old Hrolmar Monograph (written by Richard Watts and published as Chaosium's last Stormbringer monograph back in 2006) and other supporting documents for the setting.I've also posted the second session of an old actual play of Calisander, Richard's adventure set in the aforementioned Old Hrolmar.

Cheers!

This is from an article on the first Hawkmoon game on rpg.net.

"Chaosium finally decided to issue a stripped-down version of Hawkmoon 2nd Edition as a cheaply printed monograph. This new version, by Lawrence Whittaker, is supposed to have revamped rules to make it compatible with Stormbringer 5th Edition and Corum. "

Will this mongraph ever be republished as a pdf by the Stormbringer site? I can't see it being published in print or pdf by Chaosium again because of the new Mongoose Hawkmoon.
