  1. Since Broos can breed with anything, I should imagine he is linked with whatever animal is locally derided.
  2. I completely disagree. Both are myths, and therefore both are absolutely true and reliable!
  3. IMG the 'names' of deities are more often a title, imposed on a multitude of local deities.
  4. I think the Vadrudi have a case to make concerning Orlanth's perfidious defeat of The Boss. All in all, this simply reinforces my idea that Orlanth is a Godlearner-imposed nonsense, and that Greg wrote him as such.
  5. There are no Telmori now. Argrath was the big bad villain who brought about the end of the age. QED. Hail Harshax!
  6. You mean Jeff can be Jeffed too.... weird man. I need some more hazia....
  7. Jeff posted in 2019 A few notes on the Torkani: Argan Argar is the tribal patron god. He is worshiped as a consort of Ernalda, as is Orlanth. Humakt is the most important war god, although Storm Bull is also popular. All the Lightbringers are worshiped. Their Rex cult is unique - as the tribal leaders need to worship Argan Argar in conjunction with Orlanth Rex. So I think the answer is "Your Rex cult for the Torkani May Vary"
  8. We're gonna need a bigger river.....🙃
  9. For me the joy of Greg's mythologising is that he would happily incorporate (almost?) anything into his thinking. Don't impose a boundary - leap it!
  10. To Lord Blackadder "You have a woman's bottom, my Lord"
  11. Pocharngo, give us the insight to warp the one to the other
  12. I'm sorry, but I can't shake the image of Furthest cramped with trailers🙃
  13. While I am sure it is a typo, I find the title of this thread wonderfully judgemental...🤣
  14. Ah, but back in the good old days, it was, my friend, it was.....
  15. Unfortunately, as with so many works of fantasy literature, the lack of attention to demographics destroys it as a setting for serious campaign gaming. That is why I suggested it as an 'otherworld' or 'heroquest' setting from the RW.
