The article for Birchbark Chronicles made its way across the Atlantic where Mark Galleotti is going to chop it up and put it through a blender to make it fit with his other articles, so that's one down.
Merrie England is, after a host of rewrites and additions, almost ready to be published. I remember why I prefer to write things for a website rather than for other people - it's a lot, lot easier. Still, I have ideas for a couple of follow-ups for Merrie England and should have them ready fo
does anybody out there live at or near the tri-city area in Southern Ontario (Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph)? I'm looking to join up with or start a group. Anybody...Anybody...Bueller...
Last night I finished the draft layout of the monograph—there are a few small details that might move the page count, but it looks like it will be 126 pages (plus or minus 1).
Chapter 2 of 5 is back from the editor, and I only have one small (250 word) text box to finish writing. Several blind play testers (and semi-blind—meaning people who have played in my games before) are looking at copies of earlier drafts.
All the artwork is in.
I hope to have it to Dustin in two weeks!

Hi all! Just got back from the Tentacles Omega Convention, where I got my hands on my preordered copy of BRP Rome. And man, this is a great supplement. It's truly packed with information, and it's quite obvious that a lot of research went into the making of this book. I had the pleasure of playing a game of BRP Rome with its author Pete Nash at the Tentacles, which was quite fun! (At least the parts I remember. Fabian asked my how I could possibly be able to walk already at the sign-up riot the

I couldn’t help noticing how much this article (http://www.mercurynews.com/centralcoast/ci_12115324) matches the opening of Daybreak Tomorrow. Only now you have to imaging a larger area without intermittent landlines functioning – a situation with absolutely no reliable information about the problem.
Rubble and Ruin is getting better! I can say this because I am getting help where I need it the most. Puck from this forum has agreed to contribute some artwork – and it is great! (At least, I like it.) He has captured my image of rubble and ruin – wasted and formless scraps of our world inhabited by rough and tumble individuals. And he thinks he can get me a laser tank for the Bestiary! Maybe it’s just me, or maybe it is the fact that I am writing up “my game” but any game with robotic la
The album software move is almost done. I'll add some random pictures from the albums to the front page, and ease the viewing of the albums, but that will be it for now.
The Reviews for Chaosium BRP have been improved with links for the authors and the products in the description. I'll will also add links to thread discussions when I have agreed with myself where they shoudl be. The finished products have so been removed fromt he frontpage, and replaced with links to the review section.
I'm currently experiencing another surge of activity dealing with BRP Central. I've had a lazy period for a while, but have recently gone into a more active modus.
I've updated the forum software and all the add-ons, and is at the moment reorganizing the subforums (yet again...). As the spammers have started to visit our site too, I'll be taking some measures against that promptly. No more shoes or russian porn!
I’ve got the first three chapters out to two play-testers!
I thought people might be interested in this – on the inside front cover of the monograph I have a small section called inspirations.
There are many different forms of post apocalyptic stories each with their own flavor. Rubble and Ruin focuses on only one vision of the future – the following stories most closely capture the feel of the Rubble and Ruin world:
A Boy and His Dog (Film: 1975) or the original story by
Today I got word that R&R has been accepted! Let’s hope this goes well.
I am currently looking for play testers – if you are interested, let me know!
I have character generation finished – if you would like to make a few characters and let me know what you think, I would like to hear from you.
I am converting my Terminator RPG to BRP
As soon as i have a good amount of it ready i will upload it for anyone who wants to use, or modify or tweak it. its not perfect but i think it will point people in the basic direction. It will be completely free.

I will be free the only thing i ask is you keep it free al
Tonight, travelling home from the city center, I had two encounters!
First, an aggressive narcotics dealer, who followed after me and whom I had to give a good push to get away from me.
2 minutes later, a gang of four who most likely wanted to rob me, who I luckily convinced to move along.
First time I have ever experienced something like this in Oslo. I think I deserve a tick in spot, streetwise and unarmed combat (for successfull posing!).
Tomorrow, some REAL gaming.
I'm looking at what I want to do RPG-wise and I know I haven't time to do anywhere near as much as I'd like.
Close to home, I have a RQ Campaign set in Third Age Pavis/Prax that is in danger of stalling unless I can find something to inspire me.
I am working on an article for the Birchbark Chronicles for Mythic Russia that I haven't looked at for a couple of months.
A long-term project is the mapping of Prax/The Holy Country/Dagori Inkarth for an extended game of Dragon
So, another Sunday, another full day for Roleplaying! Today I was gaming, RuneQuest/BRP in 2nd Age Glorantha. We have been playing the Blood of Orlanth campaign, and today the group was trying to stop a ceremony that would channel the energy of a storm into the world dragon project.
The two most memorable happenings of todays session was the following: Tarkan, a EWF desserter working undercover was standing judge over a man who refused to split the tongues of his children. Tarkans advisor s
I hate it when I make a character that has useless skills. I’m not talking about skills that I failed to make relevant, but rather skills that had no chance of ever coming up in play –particularly when the skill is one that the GM doesn’t believe in. To combat this problem in my own games, I always supply the players with a skill list during character generation that includes “every skill I will call for, unless the action is driven by a player”. By this I mean that left to my own devices, th
