BRP Gamemaster Screen
By pansophy
This is a PDF with 6 pages of additional tables some people might find useful. When printing the Reference section of the BRP rules book, these additional tables should cover nearly anything you will need during an adventure and character creation.

Optional rules for campfires, dehydration, jumping, object armor, water requirements, wind effects
By skull
Optional rules for campfires, dehydration, jumping, object armor, water requirements, wind effects.
This is a modified version of the original document i have open office rtf , and pdf format.
The most visible difference is the wind effects table witch has been modified to be more compatible with the BRP book.
Feel free to modify values as you see fit, if you think my values are to low or to high alter them till it feels right. nothing is set in stone.
This is version that i will be using in my Planet of the Apes(POTA) RPG. A work that is still in progress and will cover the classic POTA movies and tv, shows, but not the new movies. i am old school POTA fan.
Anyways i hope this is of use.

CoC/MW to BRP Movement
By pansophy
Don't know if people recognise it at all, but MW and CoC use different Movement rates. I like to use some creatures from both of these settings in my BRP game, so I came up with this easy movement table.

Random Weather Generation
By Chorpa
Just a simple system you can use to randomly generate weather I cobbled together a day when I was bored and had little to do.
I have used the Weather Conditions from p. 235-236 of the BRP Book and made some simple tables you can use to quickly roll up the conditions for each day. It also have some simple guidelines on how you can generate temperatures for each day.

Ken's D1000 Table
By MurfinMS
Hiya gang,
Back in the hardscrabble days of lil' book D&D and its offshoots, I remember going through Hargrave's "Arduin Grimoire" when it first came out. Packed with mounds of great homebrewed stuff, I *really* liked the several pages of "Special Features Tables" that were included toward the front of the book.
Ever since, I've been a fan of such tables, and have used several such over the years.
So at some point several years back I decided that a *mere* D100 just wasn't enough, and decided to make a D1000 table. How hard could it be?
Well, I'll tell you, trying to generate a *thousand* different features is more difficult than you might think. It was for *me* anyways...
I eventually came to the realization that such a task was going to be kind of difficult.
I started by worked up a list of features cadged from the old Hargrave tables, stuff taken from an accquaintence's Special Feature table I received in the early 80s, and anything out of the ordinary that may have been attributed to a particular NPC or spell, or special cult table, etc which I could find going through my RQ/CoC/DG/Elric/Stormbringer/Elfquest stuff, odd abilities encountered while reading through epics and sagas, bits taken from a set of online RQ Alchemy Rules (Simon Hibbs maybe?),as well as stuff of my own creation or inspired by stuff I'd encountered during game play.
More than a *few* bouts of fine tuning later, and you have my D1000 Special feature Table.
Enjoy!

Potions v 1.0
By Jarulf
This is a set of simple rules for making magical potions along with a few examples. They are purely a figment of my imagination and have not been play tested. I think the basic system is sound, but details can certainly be improved on.

Corrected Hit Locations table
The fractional hit points table on page 369 is wrong - so I knocked this up with NeoOffice, which should give the true values for all THP values between 1 and 100 for 2/5, 1/3, 1/4 and 1/5 THP.

Dogs
By rleduc
These are my homebrew rules for handling dogs in a normal powered game. It handles hunting, tracking, guard, and attack dogs. These rules would most likely be useful for people running normal powered games set in wilder areas where people still live with and use dogs. Imagine our heroes being chased through the swamp by baying hounds, or sneaking up on a frontier cabin with a couple of dogs in the yard – that is the type of situation where this level of detail would be needed. I have a blog entry explaining why I bothered to write these up, if anyone is interested.

A Kick in Your Arsenal
Enjoy this expanded list of blunt, sharp, heavy, and otherwise naughty objects you shouldn't use or put inside of other people at high velocity in the real world. Compiled from books published by Chaosium and Pagan Publishing. It is principally composed of damage tables by caliber and improvised weapons with a few nuggets of mayhem thrown in for fun. It best serves games set in the 20th Century, but has a few Gaslight and ancient weapons for your reference.
This is only a reference guide and not intended to replace or substitute for the full statistics presented in those books. Feel free to adjust the statistics for your own use. Rules are never a substitute for for a fertile imagination. Enjoy! :thumb:
