  1. Hoping that I didn't miss a June announcement (mentioned above) about community publishing plans. Any news?
  2. Any updates as we approach the Pendragon starter set launch? Also: Mark, are you able to confirm whether or not Paladin will have a separate community content program or be included within the Pendragon program?
  3. So say we all. It's such a fascinating variant of the Pendragon rules, and the setting is absolutely massive in scope (virtually all of Europe and a few spots beyond...and that's not even including fairy realms). In a just universe, there would be a whole shelf of Paladin expansions! A generous community publishing plan can move us in this direction.
  4. Additional related question: will Paladin be included under this community publishing policy? Paladin's limited catalogue (only two books!) suggests there's incredible potential for additional supplements/adventures.
  5. Hi everyone-- Has Chaosium given any specifics about the community publishing (i.e. Miskatonic Repository) plan for the new edition of Pendragon? Specifically, I'm wondering if it will allow for non-Arthurian supplements. For example, if I wanted to create a supplement about another medieval epic like El Cid or Beowulf, would these sort of projects be possible? I know past editions of Pendragon have gone in this direction ('Land of Giants' being a good example). I've been loosely developing some project ideas in this direction for a few years now (while I've been in grad school) and it's often struck me that Pendragon would be the perfect system for such things...but I'm not sure if these will be possible under Chaosium's forthcoming policy. Any insights/clues/prognostications about the future would be appreciated!
  6. Waiting on my hardcopy to arrive, but I'm *really* enjoying what I see in the PDF. Any announcements about whether we're likely to get an ongoing line of support sourcebooks/adventures for Babylon (like Mythic Britain or Constantinople)? There seems to be *so* much to explore in this era that I feel a tiny bit intimidated by all of it. It's absolutely the best kind of intimidation--the feeling of entering a truly unknown world. Yet an example adventure (or, dare we hope, a campaign?) would really help me visualize this setting in action....
  7. Quick question: according to the Miskatonic Repository guidelines, the Keeper's Rulebook, Investigator Handbook, Keeper's Screen Pack, and Pulp Cthulhu are the only 7e materials MR publications can reference. Yet I notice Cthulhu Dark Ages material in there, too.... Are there other books available for MR developers to reference? Maybe Down Darker Trails or Reign of Terror? What about the Starter Set or various adventure collections (like expansion material for existing published adventures?). Just curious if the guidelines have been modified as more material has been released.
  8. A strange question I've wondered: given the rapid cultural evolution during the GPC, should constant major construction projects dominate most urban areas in Arthur's realm throughout the campaign? Given the amount of time it took historically to construct great castles, fortifications, and cathedrals, it seems that Arthur's realm would be in perpetual construction/reconstruction as one style rapidly gave way to the next. I know I'm over-thinking this, but it's an idea I've returned to again and again as I try to think through the implications to how Logres would actually function (I suspect I like my campaigns a bit more 'grounded' than many, and therefore tend to struggle with issues that others easily handwave....).
  9. Wonderful to hear. Thanks for the confirmation!
  10. Hi everyone-- Given that Chaosium has created a program for the publishing and sale of fan-created material for CoC (Miskatonic Repository) and Runequest (Jonstown Compendium), has there ever been discussion of such a policy for Pendragon (Camelot Codex?)?
