  1. Yes they were bought used. I am not surprised the map is from a different book, I didn't remember tearing it out. Ah, ya that map looks very different. I wish there was a higher quality picture out there for historical preservation at leary (a way to get a poster print, would be cool).
  2. So, years back I bought Pendragon 3rd & Knights Adventurous and recently snagged The Boy King. Pendragon 3rd had two fold out maps. Also there was one (maybe one half, pictured below) pull out map from Knights Adventurous (I think). The Boy King had no pullout map. I am fairly sure there was originally a poster map in one of the books. I want to know what am I missing. I bought the pdfs from drivethru. However, only the pdf of Knights Adventurous has a map scanned (over 8 single pages), but that looks different from my map I have. The core book pdf for 3rd has none of the pullouts/color plates or the poster map. Any help narrowing down what I'm missing would be great!
  3. When a character gets inside the reach of their opponents weapon, flip weapon strike ranks until the character on the inside fails an attack/defense roll or takes damage.
  4. I think this page from Well of Daliath may illuminate part of this discussion around how Kallyr is read. I haven't been a huge fan of how she's been presented in the text myself. https://wellofdaliath.chaosium.com/kallyr-rocks/ Oh, Argrath was dead in a ditch during the short RQG game I ran. I am the person who would only run Star Wars, using a New Hope as canon and would start with an event that kills off all the major characters (good and evil). In my upcoming Legendary Duck Tower game, I'm having a npc named Arquack, who is going to play a Zote (from Hollow Knight) type role as a special encounter. I think he (Argrath) is kinda a boring authoritarian. I haven't liked how the important npcs are presented. Not for any canon reasons, but they lack the style, substance and utility I look for in gaming material.
  5. I am starting to feel spoiled seeing my favorite artists work in my favorite setting.
  6. Wow! This is all great advice. *takes down a lot of notes* I am going to add a few helpful npcs, and roll up a few of the PCs siblings and family members as well. I think later on when we all have a better grasp of the rules, I can defer the control of the allied NPCs to the players during combat and the like
  7. One of the players doesn't like running multiple characters (found out when pitching Dungeon Crawl Classics). That was my first idea.
  8. I am looking at running the adventures in the Gamemaster Screen Pack, however my game group is just myself and two others. We'd like to start a sandbox game in Dragon Pass, however a lot of the adventures assume more adventurers. Does anyone have advice on scaling the adventures for less players?
