  1. Although living in Scotland, I have not yet seen Edition Zero. I have been playing for a long time circa 1980. I would say no you are too busy dealing with the first apponent to run. Its like the old addage from Jerry Pournells Their will be War series. "The first to run, Dies! so the rest may live" not a direct quote" Martin
  2. Although the combat rules seem quite straitforward. Each character having the traditional attack; parry/dodge type actions with a possible third action. I feel calling these actions strike ranks a little confusing, as I recall RundQuest the most detailed combat system of the BRP line used this basic format. However each character had his own personal SR (Strike Rank) based on his Dex & Siz with a modifier for the weapon. With each combat round counting through the SRs (12 - 1) until each combatant had completed his/her actions. Has this model been abandoned in favour of the one explained in your post.
  3. Hi there My name is martin, I have been playing since the early 80's and have experimented with most game that I could find. At first I was interested in the Aftermath (fgu) system and another FGU game Chivalry and Sorcery. Then I found RQ and CoC and was quickly converted to BRP. I am interested in developing a modern supernatural campaign. A much more streamlined World of Darkness, Dresdon Files or something like that. mmc
