  1. Hi. Has a native French speaker, I really think "Black Sun" is written in English. I did not mean it is not germanic. It is really a case where I feel "lost in translation". 😅
  2. Thank you! If, some day, there are French cultists, I swear I will be there to tell you how to properly name them!
  3. Hi, I'm about to reveal the Black Sun in my Achtung Cthulhu campaign. But, as "Nachtwolfe" seems to be a german term... "Black Sun" is definitively not. I don't think the group refer to themselves in another language. I tought about a pure translation : "schwarze sonne". Do somebody have a better idea?
  4. My way of doing it is: - If it is a menace to the player (monster, someone following, a book or painting you should not see): I ask or the roll. - If it is just there, to be found : I want for them to say they are searching. Then: 1) If they have time and/or know what to do : automatic succes. 2) If they have to do it quick or have others circonstances (like, leaving no traces) : I ask for spot hidden.
  5. Hi, Mt question was a bit confusing. My players (friends) donc really want to read Lovecraft (but one already have). They want there characters to read (and me summarising the infos collected!). So, I like the idea that Lovecraft is unknown, which at least bring a bit of research to find him. And giving then some % in mythos skill seem a fair reward. Thank you!
  6. Hi, I'm starting a new campaign of CoC, in the Achtung! Cthulhu setting. So, as Lovecraft died in 1937, my players are thinking that they could read everything he has written. I don't feel that I could not allowed that, but I don't know how to handle it. Did somebody ever had the same problem? Thank you. Ghislain Blais
