  1. Here are a few more one is sort of based of the snake mound here in the US IMG_20240325_0001.pdf IMG_20240325_0002.pdf IMG_20240325_0003.pdf IMG_20240325_0004.pdf IMG_20240325_0005.pdf IMG_20240325_0006.pdf IMG_20240325_0007.pdf
  2. The blue in the gorge sea didn't scan for some reason
  3. I had been drawing up a few maps for a greek campaign a year ago. Here are some. I hope someone can use them. IMG_20240324_0003.pdf IMG_20240324_0004.pdf IMG_20240324_0005.pdf IMG_20240324_0006.pdf IMG_20240324_0007.pdf
  4. I was looking at the SRD and was thinking wow this is a lot like the System I am working on. Then I realized oh yeah I stole two big ideas from HeroQuest. The Mastery and free form skills.
  5. I have played a druid in other games so I think about weather a bit. Really I think how little control of the weather is allowed in D&D and how useful it could be. A dreary wet day could be used by a group to get around a village unseen. People being driven indoors by the bad weather may see people but with few details. Fog in a sea battle could be very interesting especially something like Californian Tule fog. Ships completely invisible until 20 feet away. Frost Giants that attack with the first snowfall or during a blizzard could be thematic and fun.
  6. You could track down the books in the original language and may run them through a few online translators. I have been thinking of doing that for Animonde but can't really find anyone that will ship from France to the US.
  7. I am not really a fan of Fate Core but I did like the combat zones they blocked their combat into. Sort of worked were you could always melee anything in your zone. You may need to do movement to change zones. That made it pretty nice.
  8. I will comment on something I have been working only because I am seeing some of the influences Hero Wars and I have something at ends up a bit like AGE. I haven't looked over the file in some time, I am sure it has tons of mistakes and may be asinine. I was working on it some time ago for friends but figure meh, I can only make a fool of myself. 9. I don't have a lot of Runequest material yet. I just added the Bestiary to my collection. Is there a source that documents buildings of the bronze age? I am pretty clueless to the history and was looking for resources. I found the link below. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/haus--129478558010940222/
  10. I go by the Charlie Brown rule for playing. Don't talk about Politics, Religion, or the Great Pumpkin during games at my house. In game version of these are fine. I also don't like people taking off their shoes in my house, but I am sort of a weirdo.
  11. I am going to do that from now on then. Amazon plus higher quality product I would like to keep somewhat nice don't mix.
  12. One of the things that got me here was Dan Davis's youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUVwT8zcS5Z_rYXnpomlbfg which talks about the photo indo-european language. Also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dnieper–Donets_culture I think their god Dyeus Pater seems to be Yelm.
  13. I have never heard of startplaying.games I will have to look into it. I am weaker as a GM and with no knowing the online tech side of things I am pretty intimidated. But maybe I can try the twist ending thing you mentioned. I did pick up the Bestiary. Two thoughts. Amazon doesn't seem to be great at handling stuff, I am going to go through you guys directly next time. I love the Men and a Half guys, they are very similar to race I worked up for one of my games.
  14. Thank you all. Yeah Tacoma is a bit of a drive, I travelled there to see Iron Maiden sometime ago but its a trek. I will have to check out that Portland Game Store. I used to work by Guardian and it was weird , parking sort of crazy. I tend to go to Rainy Day Games if I am in that area or Dice Age Games here in Vancouver. Thank you for the selling points. The first one may not work for them but hopefully the rest will. I have heard them bemoaning players not playing their classes "role" bugged me a bit. I like to make characters that are fun to play not fill a role.
