  1. Yes, I agree with you. That is why I was converting the ones I needed.
  2. I copied and pasted the individual images from the NPC PDF into GIMP. I then added the alpha channel for transparency to the background. I did have to fill in a few small portions of the bluish outer frame so that the tranparency would not overlap some of the lighter portions of the NPC. Saved them as a PNG at their native 200dpi resolution. I hope that helps.
  3. Kyle, is this what you are looking for?
  4. As mentioned above, The Cthulhu Mythos Encyclopedia by Daniel Harms is what you seek. Anyone writing something about the Mythos should own this book. I also found this helpful: https://cthulhureborn.wordpress.com/2019/06/29/the-safewords-of-cthulhu/
  5. I am in the process of writing some introductory scenarios, and I wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on what the top 5-10 Investigator occupations are. I am asking this based on the standard 1920s era. My initial thought was to include the first eight listed in the Quick Start or the Starter Set: Antiquarian, Author, Dilettante, Doctor of Medicine, Journalist, Police Detective, Private Investigator, and Professor. What do you think? What occupations should be added to that list? Should some on the list be replaced due to lack of popularity?
  6. Check out these offerings on DTRPG. You have to print and cut them, but they have some Lovecraft-inspired minis. Okumarts Games DARKMOOK Paper Miniatures
  7. The Arkham Horror ones from FFG are about as close as there is right now. Quite expensive on Ebay.
  8. Was there an update on this being relased somewhere? I missed it on 23 OCT and would love to see it.
  9. I am creating a scenario using a Crawling One, but I see that the Crawling One's skills are different between the two sources. Does one source override the other?
  10. This is a great scenario! When my group played, we also used the map pack from Lovemaps: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/368132/Cthulhu-maps--scenario-map-pack--The-Lightless-Beacon
  11. Most RPGs have a difficult time reflecting real-world damage effects from firearms. There are so many variables at play it is almost impossible to quantify projectile damage on paper. But that does not stop us from trying! Also, there are so many tiny differences in handgun rounds that a S/M/L/XL(maybe) would probably be a better way to catagorize them. Lastly, a handgun is what you use to get you to your rifle/shotgun/tactical nuke...😁
