  4. Mythras Encounter Generator Makes a Trip Into Lands of Faerie

Bestiaire Faerique is a fantastic tome of monsters and encounters in the lands of Faerie made by folks at http://d100.fr/jeux/mythras/ It contains about 30 creatures from folklore, rules for faerie magic and several new creature abilities.

Here are the first few creatures from the bestiary added to Mythras Encounter Generator

    Athach – the strong faerie
Aughiskey – the terrible watery horse
Banshee – the harbinger of doom

Baobhan Sith – a variation of a vampire

    Barrow-Wight

The creatures in original bestiaire have fixed character stats, I have modified them here to be varied, so you will get a bit different creature at each generation

Monks of the Order of the Mountain Temple come to MeG

Took a look at indomitable Raleel’s work on cults after our extremely selective invite only summit of Mythras Inner Circle in the last vestiges of northern summer in Helsinki.
Raleel has created a load of useful cults that are easy to drop in any fantasy / sword and sorcery campaign in Mythras. I promised to put some of this to MeG right away. Here is the Way of the Vulture based on Raleel’s Mountain Temple monk – a wuxia inspired monk.
I added to MeG all the weapons that the monk order brought in – very nice wuxia style weapons. I added as well the two new combat styles into MeG. The pictures of the weapons are at Raleel’s site. I will be adding these into the combat style cards shortly as well.
Student of the Way of the Vulture
Disciple of the Way of the Vulture
Master of the Way of the Vulture
Sage of the Way of the Vulture
    As a party I added
Monks of The Way of the Vulture

The weapons will be visible while creating new npc’s if you select “All” for weapons.

The corresponding “Student,Disciple,Master and Sage” are visible also in the lists for selectable cults – if you want to create your own variations.

  6. Are there pictures and more detailed descriptions of how Waertagi look in any of the published material. On a quick search I found mention of humanoids with long webbed fingers and toes with green or blue skin

Edit: Found this: Has anything appeared after that?

  7. Now that my players have reached a large city which has a bigger Chalana Arroy temple I would like to engage the thinking power of the tribe:

What have you used as approaches for deciding how the character can gain access to the priestess who could regrow the limb.

I would like it to not be automatic in the fashion of return to city, go to Chalana Arroy temple, give money, limb is back.

There are only so many priestesses who have the spell, they can do only so many of regrow limbs (and other healing spells) per day. They gain their power back in so many weeks, seasons? There might be many customers of various priorities who like to be healed quickly.

How many applications of all rune spells anyway would be available for a priestess to use in a season or a week.

What would be the mythically appropriate sacrifices for Chalana Arroy and ways to affect the priority.

  8. I could have sworn that I saw a place mentioned that has exceptional healing powers in Pamaltela but cannot find It now. Something possibly involving Doraddi or Veldang.

Based on the published material what are the most important healing locations in Pamaltela?

There are of course the temples in Garguna and Selerops and the ironwood in Cenorom but how about elsewhere

  9. As a background for my campaign next phase  I created a personal interlinked Obsidian database from all of Pamaltelan material in Guide to Glorantha, Prosopaedia, Revealed Mythologies and some other material available to me. Obsidian is extremely useful for background material. For example all the place names are now interlinked to all the maps they are presented in... This has been way too much prepping for Pamaltela based part of my campaign (3534 interlinked files, part from my campaign, part from the background material above), so let's see where this goes. At least I am prepared... Hopefully the players do not decide to head back to the north continent...

    Hello,

we are about to finish our 10-year old campaign in Pavis. The next campaign will be set in Fonrit and around (Loral, maybe Kumanku). Almost everything else is still unclear. We know however, that the next campaign will have  elements like boats and seafaring , pirates, social dilemmas, scheming and backstabbing, slavery and expeditions. After a very heroic campaign in Pavis, we have planned to keep the next one on quite a low level. I have found/purchased the following Fonrit resources already:

    - Guide to Glorantha and Argan Argar Atlas

    - Tradetalk #14

    - the excellent Mythras Encounter Generator with plenty of Fonrit related content, and tools for GM's from Notes of Pavis site

    - this forum with all it's Fonrit related topics

I know that there will be a Fonrit book by Chaosium at some point, but I doubt that we'll see it in time before we start our campaign (It's not the first in pipe, right?). So, I'm interested about all kinds of material related to Fonrit and Loral, at least. Meaning maps, cult writeups, place descriptions, session seeds, herobands/organizations, npcs etc. The material doesn't have to be Gloranthan even, if it has the "Fonritan vibe" from your point of view. Meaning inspirational art, harbour maps from real world, building concept art etc.

Have you run a campaign set in Fonrit? It would be nice to hear what kind of story line have you created?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @Harrek

What happened to your campaign. My group of players just landed to Hombori Tondo from 10 year of real life campaign part in Loral (my version). I am interested in what others have done in Pamaltela

If you need any more I've got google docs out the ass on organizing all my thoughts. those are just the Gods information for the players as if they wanted to worship them.

    I've got a ton more.

    Hi @GLewallen

I would be interested in the other material that you have done for your campaign relating to Fonrit and Pamaltela.

  12. Looking at Fonrit side quickly - the following are either in Revealed Mythologies or in GtG if I have marked correctly:

    Afati

    Dengenti

    Erlanagga

    Great Boat
