  1. You could use the CoC Creature Generator to get the stats, then use the RQ6 Encounter Generator to generate skill % and spell %. http://ouropa.planeetta.com/rq_tools/enemygen/ All you'll need to do is get a free account, then you can make templates and use them to generate characters.
  2. While these are dieties with stats for 3.5, they are ones of my own pantheon, so they are my intellectual property. As long as you use them for personal use or as research material, I'm fine with it. http://www.johnprime.com/wizard_quest/world/dieties.php They range from minor to major dieties and are based on Greek gods loosely.
  3. @Raven, thanks for the feedback. I thought the background might be too dark, but figured I'd get it out there and let people give me feedback. Plus I haven't really looked at it when it was completely filled out so I wasn't sure how well it would fit. I'll let everyone know once I've got another update done.
  4. I've managed to get a character sheet online that is fillable. Not sure how it looks when printed out, and am still working on it, but here's what I've got so far. http://www.johnprime.com/wizard_quest/brp/brp_fantasy_cs.php If you fill out the form, then push the submit button, it will go through and display your entries as text. I need to do some more coding on the page to change any of the fields which have not been filled out to transparent after you have submitted the form, but haven't gotten to that yet. Also, I need to do some test prints to see how it looks when printed.
  5. I've uploaded a shorter version of my character creation document which just contains the professions I use in my fantasy game and a little bit of information on the spell casting system I'm using. The file is in the downloads section under the Fantasy/Historic section called Professions 1
  6. Version 1

    157 downloads

The professions section of the character creation document that I use for my fantasy game. I have borrowed ideas from others to use for my fantasy games so if you see something you recognize, it's because I liked what you did and wanted to use it for my game.
  7. I had used Roll20 a while ago for one of my games as wasn't too impressed with it after I finally got a chance to use it. On the surface, it does look pretty impressive, but I agree with Rosen about RPTools. I have glanced a little at Fantasy Grounds as well, but have looked more heavily into RPTools and personally like that one better!
  8. Happy Holidays everyone, whatever you may celebrate! Also, stay safe for any of you who are traveling during this holiday time!
  9. I've based all my pricing, including what the players get paid from the real world. Yes, I know the prices of items in our world would be different due to the various manufacturing abilities of the modern world, but by going with a real world pricing model, the players have a better grasp of whether the merchant is charging to much or if they are getting paid to little for a job. Course they can be suspicious if the pay for a job seems to high for what they're asked to do as well! Obviously the person that wants to hire them isn't telling them everything! But this way, when a merchant says a room is 100 silver pieces per night, they know that the equivalent is $1000 per night, and if the place looks like a dump, he's way overcharging.
  10. I run a high magic campaign and I use the Spell Knowledge skill from Classic Fantasy for the only skill that is needed to cast spells, plus whatever the magic point cost is. I really didn't like the basic spells in the book so I went with the spell list from Pathfinder and assigned a power point level of 1 for any spells that don't cause damage and 3 points for those that cause damage or heal damage. So far it's worked well for my campaign. My one caveat is make sure that you are consistant with your game system rulings and whatever you allow the players to do, allow the NPCs to do as well.
  11. We used to play Car Wars all the time. I miss playing it! I'm planning on creating an arena for a local convention, using the Matchbox/HotWheels size scale.
  12. I like your take on those Feats! Very good way to add damage, without seeming to be overpowering.
  13. I play Pathfinder and recently began playing Marvel Super Heroes Classic version. I want to start running DC Adventures and am currently running a wild weird west campaign, using BRP/Aces High and will be starting a Magic World/Rune Quest/BRP fantasy game this weekend.
  14. Nice workup of these feats!
  15. I've posted the new conversion document to the site. I couldn't find the original one I had started, but could be on my backup drive, which I haven't search through yet.
  16. Version 1

    140 downloads

New version of my Savage Worlds to Basic RolePlaying Edges for my weird wild west campaign.
  17. Something happened to the conversion document I was working on with the switch to the new forum. So I removed the link to the doc. I'll upload a newer version of the document when I get home tonight as I no longer have it on my laptop.
  18. The campaign is still going strong and in fact, we're playing tonight!
  19. I'm mean, we're using SR and I count up from lowest to highest and make my players remember when they're supposed to go!
  20. It is sad that this has happened. Lots of famous people have issues in their lives that I would not want to have in my life! Substance abuse is one of the most common, I'm sure some of their problems are from the pressure of constantly having the paparazzi hounding them!

    How to get RQ6?

I think most of us can agree with you seneschal. There aren't many D100 enthusiasts out there. But slowly more are seeing the appeal of the classless/leveless system that D100 is! Speaking of which, nice to see you here Shane!
  22. My campaign world is very much affected by the Elfquest comic and game rules. I modified them a long time ago, but elves are the only ones with psychic powers. While I never really used the game rules completely, they allowed me to modify the RQ rules to include some of the Elfquest world to my world!
  23. I also like PDFs if they're created as text and not images. That way, I can grab portions of the text to use in my own documents. For instance, I've written up a character creation document for my fantasy BRP game and I used the BGB as the basis for my document. Also allowed me to grab certain sections without having to re-type them!
  24. I usually get both if they are available. I prefer reading the hardcopy at home, but when I go somewhere else to game, if I can get a PDF copy as well, then I can access it from a laptop or tablet and not have to lug the hardcopy around with me!
  25. Just glanced through the book, looks pretty good so far! Thanks for taking the time to create this!
