  1. Thanks for the clarification. I haven’t been following the Runequest releases sadly (RL has been harsh lately). For what is worth, releasing physical books day 1, it's better IMO. Really looking forward to this release. I'm having surgery in a couple of weeks and it would be lovely to have the book to read while recovering. Just keeping hope.
  2. I apologize but that's not accurate. I have bought dozen of PDFs in the Chaosium store and then got a discount when they release the physical book months later. The last time I even did this was with the new BRP book just last year.
  3. Do we know when in April the book is getting released? Will the be releasing the physical book or only the PDF and then the physical book down the line?
  4. FYI: Delta Green has an official ruleset in Foundry and 2 scenarios (Need to know and Operation FULMINATE). It is not CoC 7e but it is a full supported system that can be used in Foundry to play CoC.
  5. It's been 2 years. No updates? Honestly, it does not take 2 years to get a Foundry system and modules out if that is Chaoisum interest. Paizo, Free League and Cubicle 7 get their Foundry modules out basically within weeks of their books coming out.
  6. I was dragging directly from the compendium (blame PF2 for that behavior quirk). I'll import and try again later today.
  7. Following the instructions provided in the compendium: If I allow personalities "Personalities" in settings: Charming, Cunning, and Skilled open a pop-up window with the message "Choose Optional Skills" and no skill list or options when drag and dropped. The Personality is not added to the Personal section. There is no option to click + as mentioned on the instructions. If you choose "Brutal", you get the same window but with a 0/2 option (instead of 0/1) and when you close that windows you get a new window to write a specialization for Ride. With Brutal, it will be added to the Personality area and the skills will update. There is no + option. Professions seems to be working alright.
  8. Now it worked! I'll play around with it the next few days. Would you like to get notes here or in github?
  9. And here is the first note: I'm trying to use this link (https://github.com/Genii-Locorum/brp/releases/latest/download/system.json) to upload the manifest in Foundry using Forge's Wizard and I get an "failed to fetch package manifest" message.
  10. Okay. Thanks. Will post my notes eventually.
  11. Is there a link to the BRP implementation we can try?
  12. Any news? You are promoting a system for a brand new VTT, but 2 years later we are still waiting for official Foundry support.
  13. Are there any big difference between both rules? Something changed or drastically missing? How difficult is to jump from the box set to the core? Can you play the already published scenarios with the basic rules only?
  14. Specially something that can be run in a couple of session. Preferible set in the 20'/30' but a Dark Ages or Modern one would work too. If it's published by Chaosium, better but will try 3rd party scenarios. Foundry compatible would be awesome but not necessary.
  15. I remember years ago a company tried to kickstart HeroQuest 25th anniversary edition (of the old board game). One of the red hearings that project was a scam is that Moon Design (now Chaosium) owns the HeroQuest trademark. That project was a fiasco. Now a new company is filling for the HeroQuest trademark again and I guess they will have the same problem as before. That said, I would love to see the old HeroQuest board game back in print, but I guess it won't happen as long as Chaosium owns the trademark.
  16. I just got my copy. Beautiful book. Love the paper quality. Now to dive to 14 century Spain/Portugal.
  17. Auto buy! Questions: Asturies Medievila y Fatum Sperantia will get physical book releases? Will you give the game its own sub-forum?
  18. Are there any plans to release Mask officially in Roll20? We been playing a bunch of one shots there (guess why?) and we like the convenience of the official pre-made scenarios. We were talking that it would be cool to run Masks but we noticed it is not available. BTW if you sell it by chapters it would kick ass. Thanks,
  19. I'm confused with Special Parries vs. Failed and Fumbled attack. They do 1 point of damage in total? Or they do 1 point of damage for each point over the weapon hit points? Also, did you guys ever considered using CoC 7e version of the Parry Matrix, allowing successful and better parries to actually damage the attackers?
  20. I don't mind Astral. I'm in a CoC game there and it isn't a bad platform. I do find Roll20 more polished.
  21. I noticed that Chaosium had the Call of Cthulhu QSR, rulebook and some adventures available in Roll20, but I was looking for the Runequest quick start...and it's not there. Heck, the only thing available is a fan made character sheet. Do we have to go HeroQuesting to get roll20 official support? 🙂
  22. Salem's Lot. Only book that have ever given me nightmares and forever defined vampires to me. Even now I can't play Vampire: the Masquerade. Can't sympathize with such horrors.
