I liked the fact that there were fatigue rules, though I didn't think they were done the best possible way. also preferred the use of INT to determine how many spells you could learn. Generally liked the relatively low starting levels of expertise and character power ( not POW ! ) felt things were more of a challenge.

Well, poo is commonly known as night soil. As we all know from soil we can form Elementals. If follows therefore that there are Night Soil Elementals. These specialised Elementals move throughout the city animating the poo and moving it to places outside the city. Other cities may have cesspits and privies emptied by gongfermors but in Pavis Poo Elementals ( known as Shites ) do the job** ** one part of this may be true

That's why I said Canine as opposed to Dog, On earth canine would also include, Foxes, Jackals, Coyotes etc - though I appreciate this doesn't have to apply to Glorantha. Are there deities ( large or small ) associated with those creatures ?

More of a spirit of retribution.....mind you I have heard he sometimes manifests in the role of The Bad Dog for young rabbit shaman.

Over on the RQG facebook page there has been a brief discussion of Ironjaw the Dog. Which got me wondering...what other canine deities exist inGlorantha. obviously we've the aforementioned Ironjaw, Telmor springs to mind, i seem to remember the Book of Drastic Resolutions mentioning Canis Chaos. It is interesting that people have referenced the fanzines of the 90's and early 00's : TOTRM, Book of drastic resolutions, RQ Adventures and so on. because to me the Jonstown Compendium does have some of that feel to it. People spinning off ideas and running with them, people exploring the things about Glorantha that particularly intrigue or excite them, people going " I've got this idea......" I love the fact that there's such a range of materials out there. From large to small. And i really mean that. I've got a lot of the big flagship releases like the Sandheart series, The Dorastor material from Simon and so on. But you know what 2 of my favourite releases are ? Petty Spirits 1 and 2 by Akhelas/Austin Conrad $2.75 for both at the moment. For me those 2 little supplements represent everything that first drew me into gloranthan gaming to start with, little snippets of gloranthan lore translated into playable material that gives a richness and depth to a setting. I must admit as an old RQplayer from the 80's the whole tightly knit clan based " hey lets all get involved in the hero wars and be buddies with prince Argrath " stuff doesn't quite grab me.......So I like the fact that Beer With Teeth are exploring The Wild East of Prax and the Wastelands the news that they might be doing a POD omnibus edition makes me happy. I haven't got as far as teshnos or the eastern isles yet....but it's only a matter of time. It's all good stuff 👍

Seriously people, I have to pay bills and buy food etc. I can't live on rice, beans, windfalls and roadkill every month it's just not healthy 😄 Joking aside what great range of stuff there is. I allow myself a certain amount of geek money each month and each month I find myself agonising between a variety of intriguing products - from the big boys.... Book Of Doom, Nochet etc down to the little guys.... Petty Spirits, Denarious the Minter etc There's something for all tastes and budgets, long may it continue...

Ah perhaps, I've not been clear. I wasn't sure if the prohibition on AI art related to stuff created by me or found free on public domain sites or whether it also meant purchased art from legitimate sources like DTRPG. where presumably the seller has had some kind of creative input etc into the product.

Hi guys, please feel free just to post a link if it answers the question. I know AI art is forbidden ( am i right in this ? ) for JC publications. What's the situation concerning purchased stock art - say from DTRPG where it says " part or wholly created by AI " ?

Simple question is worshipping a Hero Cult a form of ancester worship if the hero also happens to be an ancester ? . If the hero is an ancester could you worship in a theistic fashion and in the traditional Daka Fal axis mundi/ summon ancester spirit fashion ?

I'm keen to buy these volumes...presumably they'll be next in the production schedule ?😃 Joking aside - I probably would buy them, but after the Earth Goddesses the volume I'm looking forward to most is the Shamanry and Spirit Cults volume, the little snippets jeff has mentioned have me pretty interested in that.

In the Glorantha bestiary there were several creatures in there ( mostly Pamaltan I think ) that didn't get into the RQ bestiary - it'd be nice to see them provided. maybe one day if there is a Pamalta supplement we might see them there.......

Jotimam gets a brief mention over at the Well of Daliath as being a chaos deity. I've run a search here and there are only 3 mentions in passing....... Who or what was Jotimam and what were it's features or characteristics ?
