  1. Tell me more??? I have had A/State for some time now but the system is not all that great. What rules did you use generally and how did you go about converting weapons etc? Was it easy?
  2. Was this A/State using BRP or the native rules?
  3. Jason thanks for the reply. OK now I understand why half skill was quoted in the example but not put as a specific rule, more or less could be used at GMs discretion. Cool thanks. By the way thanks for all the hard work you must have put into BRP it is a great book and I am looking forward to reading more of it. One of the things I like about it is that I already have a comfortable feeling with these rules despite not having really played any BRP based game since the 80's but the % system is just so damn intuitive.:thumb:
  4. Hi, I have just picked up BRP but I used to own Runequest back in the 80's and also Superworld for a time. I have been skimming through the new book and have a question on skill specialities. Using half the score of a related skill is mentioned in the example but not in the text. Is this a hard and fast rule or have I missed it elsewhere? The book is awesome and is certainly taking me back to my early days of gaming as well as being a good value product for the size of it.
  5. Hi yes I saw that was on the cards. Certianly will be looking out for that when it arrives. Cheers..
  6. Hi my name is Conrad and Runequest was the first fantasy game that I owned back in the 1980s. I have played and run a reasonable amount of CoC and Stormbringer but currently no longer own any BRP games. I am hoping to get my hands on the new BRP softcover as soon as it is available in the UK. I am thinking of an espionage game for BRP so will be interested to see what it can do. I have fond memories of the BRP system with its sensible experience system and percentage based skills that people can easily relate to. Looking forward to the adventure.
