  1. If mares, does and hinds, then zebras are fine and so are antelopes, including sables and impala. If cows, then bison and rhino are fine. Not sure about Bolo Lizards and Ostriches, though.
  2. I wouldn't put him as an Ancestor Priest, as he isn't part of the Raus family. Duke Raus is the head of the Raus Family in the area. Seven Mothers ties Raus too tightly to the Lunar establishment, which is fine if that's what the GM wants in the campaign. A Lightbringer might be too far in the other direction, thumbing Raus' nose at the Lunars. So, a Yelmic/Earth priest would make sense, Lodril is a good choice as it is a peasant god, so good for Raus' farmers and can claim connections to the Agimori and Oakfed if required.
  3. They could breed with any virgin animal, as I recall, normally horses, but other creatures as well - Including their riders! I can see a unicorn happily tupping a herd beast, especially a zebra.
  4. Thanks, I can see that being used in my current campaign - It seems perfect for Mello Yello (King of Dragon Pass )
  5. Agility [Brawn, Climb, Jump] doesn't really fit for me. Athletics [Brawn, Climb, Dodge, Jump, Power Lift] works better.
  6. I haven't been to Australia, but ...

    Genert's sons

I don't know, giants are not known for being reasonable and I can see a dispute between a bunch of giants and a son of Genert going that way very quickly. Argan Argar cut the top of a mountain off to make the base for the Castle of Black Glass, so it has happened more than once.

    Dodge in RQ6

Evade is flinging yourself out of the way, with no regard for the consequences. Acrobatics is neatly flick-flacking out of the way and remaining on your feet. Neither are really the same as RQ3 Dodge, which was different to RQ2 Defense.
  9. That's a shame, as it means that the other Praxians who helped drive out the Pure Horse People from peloria didn't get to settle on the Hungry Plateau and were not given a place in the area. While I agree that the Sables would be dominant, thanks to the Great Sable Conversion, I don;t see why the other tribes would be exterminated. Weaker than and dominated by the sables, yes, but exterminated?
  10. Indeed, that is pretty much how they are treated in Merrie England.
  11. Who knows, maybe Pamalt caused Genert to smash into the North Pillar.
  12. The fire comes from the Sky, when generat separated Earth and Sky, he knocked the Sky off its axis and the north part moved up a bit while the southern part moved down so that it touches the earth. The fires of the Sky flow down and fall on the earth, causing an intolerably hot area, part of the Hero Plane, with a desert on the edges.
  13. With any luck, the money from the RQ2 Kickstarter will help provide some stability, so that other projects can go ahead as planned.
  14. I have paid for previous Kickstarters by Paypal, so I would think so. Or maybe not - Just backed it and it is asking for a Credit Card.
  15. It's a problem with writing stats for the different types of bardish professions in Merrie England - Minstrels, Trouveres and Troubadours are subtly different, yet are all similar to the bard. I juggle with the skill allocations and change the traits somewhat, but they are very similar professions. When creating a character, the differences come in what traits and stunts to take as well as how you apply the extra points and characteristic points to skills. Merrie England has some tweaks to create characters of different degrees of experience. Whether Paulo wants to keep them in or not hasn't been decided, as he has neither seen them nor heard about them yet.
  16. Don't forget that many of the Praxian nations have small clans on the Hungry Plateau, not just the Sable Riders. The difference is that the Sable Riders have the Twin Stars, who are intimately connected with their mythology and helped with the Great Sable Conversion. The other nations don't have that Lunar connection, so are sidelined. One of the RQ supplements, can't remember which one, had a Lunar nobleman whose clan owned a herd of bison on the Hungry Plateau. He might even have been a Yelm follower, but my memories fade.
  17. In Revolution D100, STR is relative, so a giant with STR 18 would be stronger than a human with STR 18, but because his Size Class is bigger he can do more with it.
  18. I probably won't play it, as I am a firm fan of RQ3, but will read the new articles and see what they have changed, mainly for ideas.
  19. I remember the French version of Nomad Gods, which was very good, but the French names for counters could be quite confusing. I see towns and names as being language-independent, personally. If something is called Muse Roost does that mean that it's function if the roost of a muse? Probably not, so why translate it? Dragon's Eye or the Crater maybe, but not Nochet.
  20. A lot of things that people say are GodLearnerisms are probably not. For example, after the Dawning, the Theyalans went around to a lot of cultures and spoke to them, awakening some and reinvigorating others. They made a lot of mythical connections, including equating Yelm the Emperor with the Orlanthi Bad Emperor. They also identified many of the Runes. The First and Second Councils did much of the same, but made more sophisticated connections. The God Learners took it a stage further, creating the Monomyth, which is mostly true but very simplified. Then they started saying "What if we did this?" and started to manipulate and change things.
  21. The woolly rhino is in Land of Ice and Stone ...
  22. Genert and Gata got it on quite often, producing the Land Goddesses, who are specialised versions of the earth. In fact, they cover the earth, being the Surface Earth. I don't think that they are all Grain Goddesses and not all Grain Goddess are also Land Goddesses, but they quite often tally. Pelora was the goddess of barley, wasn't she? It's been a while since I checked. Hon Eel is the Grain Goddess for Maize, but she isn't a Land Goddess. Seshna is an interesting one, as she has had a lot of influence from the Kingdom of Logic and subsequent Malkioni, but she is definitely a Land Goddess in my Glorantha.
