  1. As I'm currently running Curse of Strahd (5th edition) this was a great piece of advice! Even though I enjoy being surprised by random tables myself, I do see your point and will do my best to add flavour to the milieus and NPC's, and make the explorations morea meaningful. Thanks!
  2. There's a Discord? (been a member of the Cult for years but I've also been inactive for a while) I guess the only reasonable thing to do is contacting you?
  3. Enjoy your birthday and well deserved break! Looking foward to reading your blog when you're back. All the best, Joakim
  4. I hope Hecate inspired you to pursue alternative 1. Looking at your more recent posts it looks like that.
  5. Same to you! Thanks for all your posts during this crazy year.
  6. I reviewed this game some years ago but not the new edition that you've used and wow, the illustrations in the book are amazing. Also, as you, I think you're able to use the game in a lot of sci-fi settings. Back when I reviewed it I was reading a lot of Nina Allan and i envisioned using the rules for her near future settings. Thanks for an excellent review - looking forward reading about Odd Soot!
  7. I've only located a hardcover (for €20) and if it's not indispensable I guess I'm able to live without it. Thanks for your nice and quick replies!
  8. Hello, I'm new here but I've been playing Stormbringer since the third edition (late 1980's) and I'm happy to see the game is more or less still alive! I don't know how big the game was in its heyday but at least one rpg magazine here in Sweden published an adventure for it (that's how I discovered the game). A question: I just discovered the supplement Bright Shadows for the Mongoose edition on the stormbringerrpg site, but I can't find any good info about it. Is it worth buying?
  9. Was this topic ever solved? I can help with an English version of the adventure if you PM me.
