  1. Woah! The modern stuff sounds ok, but the Justice Rangers stuff with The Coachman, Gunslinger and The Locomotive sounds seriously awesome!
  2. I sold a load of gaming mags last year including over 50 White Dwarf's. If I were you I would sell the pre issue 100 seperately and any issues after that in bundles of 3. The binders should definately be sold seperately and should sell easily. You may not make a lot of money for your effort but it's better than nothing and it does free up space for more books The mags will go but you may have to relist some a couple of times to get rid of them all. If you have a scanner I would recomend scanning in any articles you like before you say goodbye to them forever!
  3. Sounds very cool, I was heavily into Deadlands when it first came out but I don't think those rules meshed with the setting at all. Also the setting was a bit silly in places rather than weird. I think a weird west setting would work really well with BRP and I would definately buy this.
  4. Thanks for the warm welcome. I am really looking forward to getting BRP the only thing stopping me at the moment is a rather large and quite unexpected garage bill! :ohwell: On the positive side of things I am married to a gamer as well.
  5. Will do, I am off for a look around now. Thanks.
  6. I sold them on the BRP system not any particular setting.
  7. Ok so the deal is that my group have never played RQ or any Basic Roleplaying Game. An unexpected slot opened up in the GM'ing roster last night and quick as a flash I am in there "I will run Runequest". I explain the system and the players all want to play. Great, except I am a bit skint at the moment and can't really afford to buy any books. I also sold all my original RQ stuff years ago. I already had visited this site a couple of times and I knew about the Luxury SRD on the downloads page. It looks ok but it is not really RQ as I remember it, but I think it could be useful. I like the look of Warlords of Alexander (again on the downloads page) and I may decide to run with that. I suppose my question is, are there any free resources (rules, settings etc..) from other sites that I don't know about that could save my impetuous ass before my players arrive on Sunday
  8. Hello, I have just joined the site. My name is Jason Halton and I live in Chorley, England. I have been playing RPG's since 1979! I still cannot believe that . I started out at the age of 11 playing RQ at school during lunch breaks and started running games in about 1981 I think when I ran Golden Heroes and RQ2 for my school friends. I have played and run far too many games to list here! I have played or run games pretty consistently my whole life apart from a 3 year stint in the army. I found this site after a long hiatus between running RQ games, I last ran RQ3 Deluxe (the Avalon Hill one) back in the early 90's and I am very interested in the new Basic Roleplaying Game.
