  1. I am still collecting data for Logan's Run. I will see what i can do, maybe i can do a basic write up to get you started. I got a lot of work done on Duke Nukem rpg, and Doom RPGs ! Duke Nukem is more complete! ! POTA is on the side line for a bit as i have restructured the games somewhat, and i need to convert POTA to the new system. I just started converting my old doom to the new system. If anyone wants to help or contribute with any of the games, let me know. i will give you full credit for any contributions, and list websites, home page links, etc. All the games will be free as i can't afford to liscense them.   2. Something i am working on, tinkering with for Duke Nukem RPG I currently have no gaming group, i like to hear opinions!   3. Anyone have links for Byakhee .coc premade characters. I just downloaded Byakee again, unfortunately my premade character files, and NPC's are no longer recoverable from my disks. I had John Carpentors "The thing " characters, lara croft and ton more. I know in the past i have shared the files. I may have to recreate them all I don't recall what websites i shared them on. If anyone has any of those files or even any links to other byakhee character files please give me any urls! The character files end with .coc for instance LaraCroft.coc So far using google search, i have found no websites that have the files. Strangely years ago it was easy to find websites with them. Thanks in advance, i really appreciate any help!
  4. I Think it is great, that they are doing the classic reprint. When RQ2 went out of print, It took me decades, before i found a copy of the 2nd edition runequest. I bought it on ebay, after searching local hobby stores, and trying to track down copies. Chaosiums Runequest 2 will always have a place in my heart. Some just love RQ2 and nothing will change that. RQ2 was the second RPG i played and i fell in love with the system. I loved it so much that all my game worlds(post apocalypse, space, wild west,etc) all used the RQ2 system , and there was little if any tweaking needed. Really the only things i added for those game worlds was weapons, armor, equipment, mutations, and stuff specific to those game worlds. I never needed to add any new rules, to the system. I know some think RQ2 only works well as a fantasy rpg, but reality is it works just as well for any setting. I think it is a good move by Chaosium, i think it will add some revenue, the company really needs. By reprinting the classic RQ2, Chaosium really shows how much they appreciates their fans and customers.
  5. Terminator figure flats, aka paper minis, infiltrators,endo, resistance, damaged terminators and some not so great bases lol! 25 to 28mm, i could not test print them cause i am out of ink. They should be close to the scales. These are free, feel free to use the jpegs as templates or as a guide to make your own paper minis. I will be doing some more when i have time.

  8. Thanks I agree it is on the rules heavy side a tad bit maybe to much. Course that is why its optional rules use what you like or don't use them! I like accuracy and realism even if it is a bit on the heavy rules side. Thanks and remember use what parts you like!

  17. This is a really good post, and yes we do need to get the word out more about BRP. I started playing AD&D , but gravitated to CHAOSIUMS RuneQuest2 and CAll of Cthulhu RPG because i prefer realism. What if we produced a pdf or other format document on how to promote BRP, D100 games and related products. We could even ask Chaosium inc. for input. Maybe Chaosium already has a document of how to promote, on thier website. I think if we all put are heads together we could do it. Great post, and thanks for reminding me, of stuff i had forgot to do.

Yes i am back and yes they optional rules are back First i apologize that this took so long, i been dealing with modem and computer issues also, been redesigning of the rules to be more BRP compatible. The most visible difference is the wind effects table witch has been modified to be more compatible with the BRP book. Feel free to modify values as you see fit, if you think my values are to low or to high alter them till it feels right. nothing is set in stone. This is version that i will be using in my Planet of the Apes(POTA) RPG. A work that is still in progress and will cover the classic POTA movies and tv, shows, but not the new movies. i am old school POTA fan. Anyways i hope this is of use.

  22. I actually think i will use the +8 = x2 like sizes 8 to 88 uses. I would like to see both tables, but i think i will use the +8 = x2 version as it seems more manageable and consistent to me. I can use any of the formats you listed. so i have no preference. So use the format what works best for you and other users here.
