  1. It may require a bit of an internet search, but "The Prince in Ruins" was my fave. It was put out on an old geocities group called the Elric or Young Kingdoms Digest. Base idea: the characters are traveling along the coast. A storm comes in. They take shelter in a crumbling light house/tower or something. Bounty Hunters show up and have a prisoner. It may be Elric. I used a pasty skinned sorcerer and mistaken identity. The hunters are pretty rough with the guy and he is unconscious. During the night, the sorcerer gets just free enough to call for supernatural aid without anyone noticing. The original set up used Pyaray. I used a wave of fish people, until the sorcerer escaped. I had him return later before dawn and summon a giant tentacle monster for revenge. Sucks to be the characters caught in the middle.
  2. That is the way I had went. Glad that there were other like minds.
  3. I am retrofitting the Dragonlance Saga for my gaming group, using the RQII/Legends system. Is anyone familiar with the setting, that has sound advice for the War of the Lance era? Note: I've been playing both D&D and RQ since 84. I've got a firm grasp of the different mechanics, and am looking for ideas that I may not have already covered. I'm using "pacts" as described in "Guilds, Factions, and Cults" and "Elric of Melnibone".
