Dear Community,
I’m an independent software and game developer from Germany and want to develop a Cthulhu Mythos game. Several other indie developers and good friends of mine want to help so expect more than an amateurish game.
The rough idea so far is that it will be a mix of the Call of Cthulhu RPG and the board games Arkham Horror / Eldritch Horror.
You have certainly read the announcement in this forum that an official Call to Cthulhu game is in development. I for myself am very excited about it and can't wait, but what will be the difference to my game?
Well, obviously we are a much smaller group of developers with a lower budget, so don’t expect any fancy 3D graphics. Instead we want to focus on 2D and the narrative. And we want to make the game closely together with the community.
But before it comes to the development, I need to know in advance, whether there is enough interest in such kind of game. That's why I created a mailing list. And of course to keep you informed about the progress of the game.
