  1. I get that some deliveries can reach the warehouses at different times and that is not a problem if we talk about 2-3 weeks difference. But if THE SAME warehouse (seems to be Australia) always get the stuff 2-3 months later than the other something has to change in order to enhance customer satisfaction.
This can be done in two or three ways. 1) Close the outlier warehouse and have the people there order from other warehouses (Fedex or DHL from EU to Australis is 2-4 days which will better for the consumers than waiting 2-3 extra months, even if the price will be higher). Or 2) use a second printer close to that warehouse. Many big book publishers uses different printers to secure their release dates. Or 3) use option 1) but keep the warehouse. Clients near that warehouse can buy the books with more expensive shipping for the first months but will get cheaper postage if they wait.

  2. My plan is actually to have my PCs being the ones that helps Samastina with her coup etat. But I would like to add as much context as possible. My PCs is coming straight from the Battle of Auroch Hills and the Gods are - at least partially - awakened.

  3. My PCs may be involved in the events leading to Samastina ousting Hendira as Queen of Esrolia/Nochet in 1622. Where can I find more information about the events and what happened?  I own the Nochet book.

What kind of write up? Like Stat block or history? Interested in both! Lol

Stat block and some history. The write-up is for ”Garrath Sharpsword”. The alter-ego Argrath used as a swashbuckling Wind Lord in Pavis before the rescuing of the Cradle. He is powerful Wind Lord at the time but not as powerful as he will be when he returns some years later.

I think the accidental Illuminate definitely feels that something has happened, but may have no idea what. Note that being Illuminated doesn't necessarily get you any cool Illuminate powers at all (almost all get the lack of innate hostility to Chaos, though), but may have to learn them.

But I also don't think everyone is automatically hostile to Illuminates - and indeed, unless they start behaving badly, or weirdly, no one may even know. Even the Arkati don't hate all other Illuminates (though they do look at their actions very carefully), and they ability of Illuminates to detect other Illuminates is one not all Illuminates learn.

One of the more common powers of Illuminates in RQG is that they can learn to treat Opposed runes as if they are not Opposed. This means an Illuminated Trickster could have high Illusion and Harmony Runes as normal - and high Harmony and Truth Runes as well!

Argrath or Arkat being illuminated didnt make them hate Lunar/Gbaji less. But it took away most of their barriers in fighting their enemies.

I like that list. I would, however, add Vikings and Land of Ninja (argh the 80's title). They were some of the best cultural supplements of the time.

As for the project itself, we would want to gather errata as well, and make sure it was properly integrated into the text. While we know where errata for the main book is, mostly (in the back of the softcover), I'm not sure if there are lists for the other titles that are available.

They are good. But maybe they should be converted to BRP?

  7. I think its great to develop both official and ”non-official” supplements. I run a Six Seasons- based campaign and have a very ”political” group of players and wanted some intrigue and powerplay among the Haraborn. So I created some bloodlines based on the ”founding fathers” of the clan so that different coalitions and loyalties would be logical. I also distributed the NPCs and steads among the different bloodlines.

But I would never publish anything of this without the consent of Andrew Logan Montgomery who was created and written the books about the Haraborn. But the bloodlines exists at ”my” gaming table.

They will likely be available on the Monday (7th), as those involved will be at Gen Con.

Is the staff at the different warehouses really emplyed directly by Chaosium?

  9. I will buy it as soon as payday next week. The setting date is actually perfect as my Six Seasons/CotD-campaign is in late 1621. I will probably have Kallyr or someone else sending the PCs to Nochet on some mission. Maybe they can take part in the Battle of Pennel Ford and Andrew Logan Montgomerys upcoming Nochet scenario/s as well.

My hopes of a full list of the ten thousand goddesses of Esrolia are dashed.

I want long forms of all the different Thunder Bros and weird HQ/HW subcults 😉

Actually I’m glad that canon is cleansed. But I missed Rigsdal in the Prosopaedia. (But I really love the book. It is amazing).

  11. My PCs plan to kidnap and interrogate a powerful rune lord. The plan is to capture him when he is sleeping. But we wonder about the magic abilities. Will he be able to cast spells on them even if he is in chains? Is there a way to make it impossible for someone to cast spells?

  12. Has anyone created a scenario or something for PCs that participate in the Battle of Pennel Ford? My campaign is reaching that time and I am thinking of letting them be involved in the battle.
