There would not.be this problem if they return to the "pick PDF first, get the printed later" system. I think they dont care much about their runequest customer base. They think this is a petty social club with this "take the pill and swallow It" policy.

My char use change rune for flight. I think if you want a water rune follower as a char Heler IS the only option because IS not geographicaly restricted.

I think that is a heroquest gift. I really like Heler. I play a Heler cultist from Helerdon and I wonder if we Will learn more in the Sea Gods book (too few associated Gods). And what is the temple size at Helerdon

We only need a few bits of how to make a heroquest. How to Cross, how to move, how to make contest and how to manage rewards, boons so they are in Sync with the deed. We already have those for shamans in the core book.

My piece of advice, if you want to start a campaign, start in 1613 with 13 years characters, so no heroquesting or any of that jazz, there are not rules yet and we have a long waiting ahead for them. We have being locked in 1626 for more than there years. Get and use old material until you hit 1625.

Art is great, Cult distribution charts and "What happens in Sacred Time" are good but sadly no relationship charts between Cults, most of the information is in other sources and the information about heroquesting and every myth, particulary "I fought we won" is almost a footnote. My opinion of course, we need the setting going foward, we are locked in 1625 for more than two years and we really need the GM book for battles and heroquesting at the same level that the shamanic rules in the core book. I think is not too much. And the answer "use JC material" is a poor excuse. No serius company says "hey I know my product is lacking of a component I am talking about all the time, but look!, use a third party product to compensate while I decide when I should fix it"

Lightbringers book does not explain Bearwalkers benefits. What do we use? Standar benefits for rune lords?
