  1. As someone who has never played RuneQuest, reading through all various logos over the years from the article, this one stood out to me as the best and definitely my favorite. I agree that if it was oriented like the one that was chosen (RQ on top, runes in middle, RP in G on the bottom) it would be perfect. One thing I am confused about with the final chosen one, why yellow instead of red? Going by the article, red definitely seems to be the iconic color of the RuneQuest line, just seems odd to abandon that.
  2. Really digging the feel of the artistic character sheet, its something rather unique for sure.
  3. Excellent interview, I am very much looking forward to this game, also looking forward to watching CallOfCthulhu the Twitch streamer when he plays it.
  4. I quite like those, a shame they weren't included in the Mythras core book.
  5. I am unaware of what this is referring to, could you enlighten me good sir, and perhaps provide an example?
  6. Regarding this, the one thing I would like to see added to Mythras is talents or special abilities that can be used to customize a character a bit. Nothing overboard in the vein of 3.X D&D feats or anything of that level, they went super overboard with feats in the d20 era. But just some heroic abilities to differentiate your character. Is this similar to how its handled in Luther Arkwright, and would that translate over properly to a fantasy campaign?
  7. I have never played RuneQuest, I have no nostalgia for anything specific. I find this logo unappealing, and it feels very late 90's/early 2000's in design. As has been mentioned in thread, perhaps changing the letter coloring to red would make it pop a little bit more. I'm curious what that would look like.
  8. Awesome I'm sure you will take that idea and run with it, but my conjured mental image was basically a do-gooder origination, also with a side mission of recovering and utilizing magical items of power in their deeds (a great reasoning for dungeon delving), magic shouldn't be hidden away, it should be used by the people for the betterment of all, and whatnot. The Blackhawks of coarse have two founding fathers who created the guild and led them in their early years, who's accomplishments are still heralded to this day. Feel free to use any or none of that.
  9. Rod, given what I assume is the juxtaposed inspiration for the setting name, is there also a brotherhood/guild in Greymoor called The Blackhawks? I think that would be particularly fitting and cool.
  10. The added structure is nice, the nostalgia and familiarity is nice, and the content itself is solid. Our group isn't a huge fan of completely free form character mechanics, preferring it a bit more structured, and we are all very familiar and comfortable with D&D. Classic Fantasy is like the perfect bridge.
  11. This looks intriguing, I wonder if it will ever get finished. Also, I know this is the BRP forums, but I have to say Cubicle 7's The One Ring RPG is nothing shy of a fantastic game, designed from the ground up to precisely emulate Middle Earth. I can highly recommend it if anyone is looking for a quality ME game.
  12. Have Violent Ends Doesn't look like anything to me.
  13. No problem. Also heres the link to their reddit page. https://www.reddit.com/r/UESRPG/
  14. Interestingly enough, I came across this a few weeks ago, its a really well done unofficial Elder Scrolls RPG that is derived from a combination of RQ6/Mythras and the Fantasy Flight 40k games. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B2KESbIjtwHsOFgxdXhoNDRJN2c
