  1. i'm available as well, PM me if interested.
  2. also curious, to anyone who has the pdf--how are the typos? there are enough to bug me in the hardcopy version, but i might buy the pdf if it's properly spellchecked, etc. . . .
  3. "display name" just changed my username (for testing purposes; i'll change it from "tired librarian" back to "beeber" in a few days). i don't see where i could change the "moving librarian" part
  4. don't see anything on my profile settings pages, alas. (i'm done moving, so "moving librarian" no longer applies, heh) thanks for any assistance
  5. reading my copy, and while enjoying it, see a bunch of "see p. XX" that i'll have to look up & annotate. also, the multiple 1d60 instances should simply be 1d10, then?
  6. oh hell, can't pass that up! glad i didn't get one of the other bundles a couple months ago!
  7. lots of good work here, thanks for sharing!
  8. another interested party here! can also shanghai my group for playtesting if need be.
  9. amazing stuff here guys, especially your efforts, soltakss!
  10. george could be a woman. . . George Eliot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia don't forget to add "cyborg" and "cultist" to that even better list, tho :thumb:
  11. sounds like fun, can't wait for the paper version!
  12. thanks for the update! can't wait for the release--looks like other members of my gaming group will pick up a copy as well :thumb:
  13. you could also use stuff from blue planet by biohazard games: Blue Planet - Biohazard Games :thumb:
  14. (another "i think the font is okay" vote, here) JD, thanks for the previews!
  15. but at some point they are one and the same, yes?
  16. this sounds pretty killer! can't wait to try my group out with it. i don't think we've done anything like it before!
  17. the current config is a tad jarring. then i click "forums" and don't worry about it anymore
  18. okay, feeling slightly more coherent now. my group's choice for fantasy gaming is WFRP 1st ed. while i think it's great, i have the urge to do something brp-esque. i have MRQ & the companion. i've run CoC (3rd ed.) with them before, so they're familiar with the mechanics. i'm wondering if i should go ahead with MRQ, or wait until BRP comes out and go from there. the rune magic system is okay; it doesn't really grab me, though. the shamanism thing seems like it would be neat, but i don't have the gloranthan book with the rules for it (cults 1? 2? ) the campaign style would be a pre-history europe kind of thing, inspired by slaine & conan. the "locations only rolled with major hits" is similar enough to WFRP that my group should have no problem. i don't get the "skills over 100%" thing, having only played CoC, mechanically speaking. maybe through actual play it would make sense?
  19. will it have hit locations? what's the magic system like? sorry, just a quick scattered thought before i go to work. i'll try to be more coherent, more specific when i get home.
  20. are those the fate points in WFRP 2e? in 1st ed., once they're spent, they're gone. very hard to get new fate points!
  21. so, does the upcoming rules have changes to the weapon damage system? if not, is there a fan supplement anywhere which brings things more into line, RW speaking?
  22. hiya jason! is there a SIZ chart included? a simple one-pager with silhouettes of different SIZ scores would help understanding the numbers. can't wait for this to come out!
  23. i've been feeling the same celtic vibe that's going around, it seems! love the worlds you've created, aycorn & tal. if i ever get to start the fantasy prehistory sort of game i'm thinking of, i'll have to add your folks' notes to my bibliography, so to speak. i need to pick up pendragon, too. the seasonal element sounds like a neat touch for any game.
