I can see a big fight now between Babeestor Gor and Stormbull worshippers on who gets to Torture and kill a rapist. I wonder if a human serial rapist would come to the attention of Thed and be drawn to join a group of nearby Broo or even start to turn into a Broo

A guess on my part , but I can see the Lunar Empire hiring a fleet from who ever had a ship to spare or rent out instead of building a Fleet to attack Karse. The Lunar Empire Fleet could have then come from the Easter Islands, Teshos, Wolf and Vormain Pirates , Fronit, and even Troll ships from Jureastela ( Hired by Blue moon Trolls). It would be far cheaper and faster to hire mercenary ships then build a fleet from scratch.

Was there any information on the types of vessels the Rus used for trade in the East. I remember reading the Rus would take their boats overland when trading between the Baltic and black sea areas.

I like fixed armor points. Mostly because I like my characters to have that scruffy patch work look with looted armor from a half dozen places.

Although the Bateau is from a much later period( It was used in the Fur trade of Colonial America) I could see boats similar to the Bateau on the Zola Fel. Going to brag here. Still have my copies of Cults of terror . Both the Chaosium Original and the Avalon Hill version. Now my copy of the Runequest Companion is on its last leg and would like a reprint of that.

The Dragonewt Klanth tend to be made out of Dragon bone not wood. But I can see Nearby Orlanthi in Dragon Pass and elves making inferior copies out of wood and obsidian. And while wood may not be plentiful in Prax , its more common then metal. Wood can be found in the stinking forest, Rockwood and Stormreach mountain, the Poison coast and the river of cradles and Oasis.

For axes I feel Pelorian/ Lunar axes should have a crescent( crescent Moon) shaped blade similar to a Bardiche , while Orlanthi axes would have a Square earth rune shape blade As far as swords in metal poor area, the Dragon Newts use swords that look like the Aztec macuahuilt and I can see the Praxian tribes and poorer warriors using similar weapons , although they would be made out of wood and obsidian, not dragon bone.

I do remember Elves being a big user of Rapiers in early Runequest. I have always felt the Rapier used by Elves was in fact grown from a relative of the arrow bush and not a forged weapon perhaps from some sort of Iron(bronze?) wood . But then I have always felt that Glorantha elves would grow many thing instead of forging them if possible.

I play HORDE of the THINGS a nice simple rule set which has a Gloranthan following and could be used for quick battles. It might not be detailed enough for some players though.

According to my Uz friends. Mostali are best served marinated for a week in wood alcohol with hot peppers and garlic. Brithini are best served fresh with white wine and onions and mushroom.

After thinking this over here my two bolgs. Orlanthi hate rape as it give power to Thed and is a chaotic act and rapist are harshly punished But as state above Thralls can neither give or deny consent so what ever happens to them is not considered by Orlanthi law rape. Same with storming an enemy town or village, the inhabitants became thralls as soon as they are captured so again what ever happens to them is not considered rape. But harming the clan is illegal and a Thane that goes around raping every Thrall girl will be hurting the clan , As some thralls some might attempt to run away to an enemy clan to escape the rapist , or some male relative might try to defend their wife or female relative (costing the clan a valuable worker) , there a good chance productivity of Thralls would go down ,along with their loyalty to the clan . Also thralls might have free family members who while not able stop the rape of their relatives by law, they can always find an excuse the to call the rapist out for a duel for some minor reason and again weaken the clan.

I have a few question. What are Orlanthi laws concerning Sex between a Master and a slave? Does the slave have any rights in this matter or is it just hard to be a slave. And would a child born of a master/slave relation take the status of the free parent. And would it matter if the Slave was a fellow Orlanthi versus a non Orlanthi Slave And it was state that it is taboo for an Orlanthi to have sex with married people and foreigners . So if I seduce the wife of a Lunar Officer cause she very good looking, how big a fine do I have to pay for breaking two taboo? I willing to part with two bolgs.

The black Goat is seldom mention and not much is known about him(Her?) except he is fertility God for the Broo .. Perhaps the Black Goat has a spell or ability that will enable a female Broo to survive a Broobirth? Non Broo would not know anything about this because who going to get close enough to a female Broo to discuss sex?

If there one rule I would like to see added when it comes to shields,, I t would be one that enables a allies shield to protect those near then like in a Shieldwall/Phalanx.. For example you have four players defending a hallway and they decide to lock shields against the Trollkin horde coming at them. Im don't know of any rules that at present that allow that( I might be wrong) and would like to see that as an option

Taking the heads of your enemy has a long history. It was done by the Celts, Roman, Japanese among others. .During WWII the heads of Japanese soldier where taken by Allied Soldier and Marines and every now and then somebody in the US sends back to Japan a skull their Grandfather kept as a trophy..
