I'm either coldly sane or functionally insane. HPL has always been one of my favorite authors. I often reread his material. Ia Cthulhu!

  1. A lot of the beasties in CoC can easily take an investigator apart if they go in guns blazing. This is one game where you have to work smarter, not harder. And while cultists, et al, can die as easily as the investigators, the investigators are not running around in Greyhawk or Forgotten Realms. They are in our world, with all of the various laws and legal snafu to deal with, so they can be arrested for manslaughter.
  2. In all honesty, burst and auto fire are best used to keep the opponent's heads down rather than actually hitting anything. Single shot is the way to go if you want to kill something. Burst and autofire are great for making a lot of noise and wasting ammunition, unless you are in a really target-rich environment.
  3. I saw that there was an older topic on this, but it's more than 4 months old with no current comments, so I thought to avoid any threadnomancy, I would ask my question here. Currently, the Online store shows the slipcover bundle as sold out. Is there any indication of when it will be back in stock?
