  1. Just to clarify on this issue, if we simply cut and paste the material from the existing BRP UGE, is that okay? Or do we need to change the wording etc., so that we're not simply parroting the original text? I'm going to be using the character generation and skill rules pretty much as given for my planned classic detection game. So it'd help to know just how things work for the material I take from the published book.
  2. Has the ORC license-covered BRP Universal Game Engine been released in .doc, .rtf, .html or other plain form to make it easier for creators using the system to adapt and write with it? I've already got the PDF book, and am planning to work from, it, but a simpler format to work with would make writing a whole lot easier. An online archive like Fate or GUMSHOE's extensive online SRDs would be just as helpful.
  3. I was looking for a system to create a full-length version of my classic detection mini-game Sleuths of the Golden Age. I'm going to go ahead with the BRP-UGE as the platform.
  4. I don't think it'll be long in coming once the Kickstarter closes (fingers X'd!) The book is all written, tested and laid out, and just wants some further artwork to be ready to go.
  5. Not sure if it's been noted elsewhere, but the Kickstarter for Casting the Runes is now live - see below: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/castingtherunes/casting-the-runes?fbclid=IwAR2-lA2Rat6x-wxlKoWO8hfdRCo1y853yqJcwDmFiEJhLVEA_NGGX_j0Pgs
  6. So glad that he lived long enough to see Chaosium resurgent and Runequest, his true masterpiece, relaunched in the format it deserved. His work and the work he made possible fuelled my imagination from the 1970s to this day. We're all hugely in his debt.
