  9. Hello, I just found an errata in the Down Darker Trails printed book. Page #15. In Table 7: Cash and assets it reads “1930’s Credit Rating” I guess that Pulp Cthulhu was used as a template and this line wasn’t changed. Hector.
  10. Hello, I just found an errata in the Down Darker Trails printed book and don’t know where or who should I send it to. In Table 7: Cash and assets it reads “1930’s Credit Rating” I guess that Pulp Cthulhu was used as a template and this line wasn’t changed. Hector.
  11. Hello CJ, your videos are great, really helpful. I had already watched your D&D tutorials and loved them, so when I saw you were doing similar videos about CoC I was really happy. Regarding half damage bonus, as I understand it, when halving down I usually half the result. To make it fair, when rolling 1d4 I assign a 1 to a rolled 1 or 2, and a 2 to a rolled 3 or 4. That’s like rolling a 1d2 I guess. And with negative DBs, just leave them as they are. A negative DB is a penalty due to the strength and/or size of the character, so halving it when doing a ranged attack is giving an unfair bonus. These are not official rules, but they are my very own “common sense” rules. About armor, a helmet would only help when hit in the head, so it will protect when the attacker explicitly says that wants to hit it and does so rolling the degree of success that the keeper asks for after applying the bonuses or penalties that he or she considers. in any other case, I would use a hit location chart and roll the correspondent die to see where the attacker hits. And about full movement speed, I think that it means that when a character with 8+ MOV is moving at full speed (meaning that it has been declared that is doing so), the attacker will have to roll with a penalty die. and about attacking and moving at full speed at the same time, yes, I guess you could do it, but at least a couple of penalty dice should be applied to his or her attacks because won’t be able to aim, has to be aware of what is in his/her way while running... I hope this helps a bit. keep on doing those awesome videos!
  12. Hello everyone, I’ll be attending a ttrpg convention shortly and want to run a couple of games. One will be 1920s or modern, but I have a couple of options for that, I just need to decide. But for the other game I want to run a Pulp+Down Darker Trails scenario. The problem is that I have only run Something From Down There (included in the DDT book) and want to try something new. Does anybody have some advice and tips or scenarios that could work? so far I’m thinking of: The medicine show the wailing women The outlaws of desolation peak I’n leaving Scanlon’s Daughter behind because, although looking like a great scenario, seems too open and long for a 4 hour slot. Is there any other out there worth considering? key points are: length: should be run in 3-4 hours action: important, but I don’t want a guns out at all times scenario it would be awesome if there were dinosaurs as well as Mythos creatures Maybe you’re thinking, “well, write it yourself” but I’m just awful at that. if any of you can point me in the right direction it will be most appreciated. thanks! Hector.
  13. This is awesome, I was planning on doing the same myself but did a bit of research first just in case. You got it down! Way better than what I'm able to do. Many thanks, I'll use it in a convention in a few weeks.
