    Marco RafalĂ  is a first-generation Sicilian American novelist, musician, and writer for award-winning tabletop role-playing games. He earned his MFA in Fiction from The New School and is a cocurator of the Guerrilla Lit Reading Series in New York City. Born in Middletown, Connecticut, he now lives in Brooklyn, New York. How Fires End is his debut novel.
  1. I'm glad that I got a chance to meet Greg Stafford at my first ever Gen Con, last year. If it wasn't for Jeff Richard, who convinced me to overcome my shyness and approach Greg, I would never have met the man. I had just bought King of Sartar at the Chaosium booth. He saw the book in my hands as we talked about Pendragon and Glorantha, and he offered to sign it. Such a kind, generous man. I'm so glad I got to chat with him again at this year's Gen Con. It's not every day that you get to meet a childhood hero. It's even rarer that, in real life, he lives up to and exceeds who you thought he was.
