  1. Yes I'd like that very much as well! Many Twitch channels record their games and make them available later, either on Twitch itself or on YouTube.
  2. Forgive me if this is somewhere in the rulebook that I missed (I'm still going through the starter set), but on the character sheet, near the Move Rate, there are two boxes with faint +1 and -1 in them. What are those for exactly?
  3. I got this recently and I'm totally new to running a CoC game. I have to say this is a great resource! I already had the Keeper rulebook and the Investigator Handbook, but the starter set really sets things in place. I like that you start off with a solo adventure, then read the quick start rules, then run a one-player scenario. Really well thought out! I'm looking forward to introducing new players to CoC and running adventures.
  4. Looking forward to the slipcase, that way I can let my players use my 1st printing book and I can use the 2nd printing for myself! 😈
  5. Yes I agree. I'd make them roll up new adventurers for that.
  6. I think all the previous editions RQ scenarios had a set date of 1618. 11L goes from 1618-1625. RQG starts at 1625. Hence my planned sequence of adventures.
  7. Me too, although the artisan is very nice. I am picky when it comes to character sheets, which is why I almost always end up doing one of my own for every system I play/run. You can find my version for RQG in the download section 😜
  8. This is my plan as well, but my group hasn't played RQ/CoC/BRP before. I'm going to start them off with Borderlands, then probably Griffin Mountain and then 11L. After all that I'll start them on the 1625+ track (hoping that at that point more on the Hero Wars will be out).
  9. Yes that's it, but they are written to go along each other. All the NPCs referenced in Eleven Lights are described in Coming Storm. It's a great campaign, but not as a first series for players new to RQ and Glorantha IMO. I think it's better to let them adapt to the system/setting first so they can better appreciate 11L when I run it.
  10. Simply do all of them! For me it's gonna be RQG and at the moment I'm leaning towards starting with Borderlands as an introduction to the setting and the rules, then I'll segue to Griffin Mountain probably, or perhaps Big Rubble. After that perhaps Eleven Lights, and then we'll start 1625+ with RQG-originals. I want my players to experience the classics, and also the recent history of the RQG standard starting time for themselves. I think Borderlands is better suited as a first series because it's less sandboxy than either Griffin Mountains or Eleven Lights. I think sandbox is fine but when you're new to a system/setting it can be hard.
  11. For someone new to the system, isn't it better to buy "Borderlands & Beyond" than this?
  12. This is how I'll explain this to my players: "pick 9 different skills, add 25% to four of them and 10% to the other five."
  13. Great series. Congratulate Jess please.
  14. So there is a rune called Soren Mountain that looks like a sideways B? Interesting.
  15. All of these are taken from Sartar Players Primer p.5. They're the same in The Argan Argar Atlas 29. Thanks for the insight on those four! Is there a central place where these are listed? What's this one (The Argan Argar Atlas 28) in the Rockwood Mountains?
  16. I have the Argan Argar Atlas, and I've seen the same pictographs in other maps, but I can't find a legend that explains what they represent (aside from mountains!). Can anyone point me to where I can find that information? Here is what I'm talking about:
  17. I'm getting The Coming Storm and Eleven Lights for Christmas, and I found this thread. Anyone continued with materials to port this to RQG? /bump!
  18. Glad you like it. I will certainly make a form-fillable version eventually, but I know myself well enough to know that I'll tweak this version further, and in any case I want to field-test it a bit before adding the form elements.
  19. Version 2.0.0

  20. @M Helsdon Yes, don't let this drag you down Martin! It is a wonderful work you've done and I do hope it will be published, as I look forward to buying and reading it. I'm sure the publishing process is frustrating for an author, but I'm also positive that it isn't as frustrating as facing the fan base!
  21. I have the Glorantha runes fonts but the sorcery runes (like Command) are not in it, is there another place to find those? Has anyone worked on those?
