The pdf went out to backers yesterday!

Now sorting out pre-order for people who missed the Kickstarter. 

Dan Barker did this fantastic last minute piece for the book. 

Over at the RPGpub forum, one of its posters Private Eye does a read through of the rulebook, starting here:

Nothing additional was ever published for the Company.

Unfortunately the main author, disappeared from the Hobby.  

"Operation" was probably one of the convention scenarios, Operation Kamphor or Operation Mudbrick. Neither of which was ever published.

I've got tentative plans to do a sort of 2nd Edition, but it will probably have a different title and be more broader in scope.

The draft layout is done (with tables of contents, index and page cross references done in the pdf). Its been sent off for checking/final proof , which I'm anticipating will take up to two weeks. Then off to the printers to proof, and pdf to backers. 

Also in parallel, the 1st draft of the Quickstart rules and adventure, the Lost Outpost, went off to editorial/proof last end of last week.

Its all go at D101 HQ!

John-Matthew has used OQ 2 as a base to create his own game that is packed full of flavour and fun  

Once I've put OQ3 1st draft layout to bed, and passed it over to final check, I shall be settling down with beverage and reading the rulebook. 

Excitement increases, Jonny Gray is signed up to bring his Savage Dark Barbarian Art style to the Saga of the Savage North.

I feel very blessed I've been able to work with Jon on these covers given how busy he is with his own projects for his Handiwork Games.

Currently in heads down phase getting the first layout draft cleaned up before it goes to final print proof.

At the risk of sounding defensive, there isn't a dedicated errors thread, because it the draft that was sent out to backers was a pre-edited/pre-proofed version.  I do actually have a dedicated editor, who is working with the text now, and proof reader, who will proof it after the document is updated after editorial.

Today is the last day, at 12 am GMT tonight, ill be making D101s Gloranthan fanzines unavailable.

So 1st draft of OpenQuest 3 sent out to backers via link in Update 26, which tickles me somewhat because that's a very special day today

End of Oct, they are gone. No longer available as POD or PDF via me or drivethrurpg.com or lulu.com. You've had 10 years + in some cases, and I brought back 1-5 as individual issues so completionists don't get price gouged by sellers on ebay or Nobleknight.

I've finally decided to call time on the great D101 Games Gloranthan Fanzine adventure.

As of 31st October both titles will no longer be available. 

Until then copies are available from my web store and drivethrurpg.com. This also includes the individual copies of issues 1-5 of HiG, for you completionists out there.

Funded back in February, as part of Kickstarter's ZineQuest 2 promotion, the Zero Edition of Skyraiders of the Floating Realms.  This us my back to basics , maximum gaming fun fantasy setting which uses a fast streamlined d100 system. The full game is in development now, but the Zero Edition is a fully functional initial release, with full rules, and a introductory adventure.

Well the Kickstarter ended just after breakfast this morning, and 545 backers have funded all 12 stretch goals! Maximum thanks to all the backers!

This is what the campaign has achieved: 

• Stretch goals 1-3 More art and enhanced graphic design for the main rulebook.
• Stretch Goal 4 The Whispering Warrior Quickstart Rules/Adventure
• Stretch Goal 5 An OpenQuest OGL SRD that will be hosted here.
• Stretch Goal 6 The Saga of the Savage North, an adventure/setting book.
• Stretch Goal 7 The Clockwork Palace, an adventure/setting book.
• Stretch Goal 8 The OpenQuest Companion, a compendium of alternate rules and guidance. 
• Stretch Goal 9 OpenQuest Dungeons, a collection of adventures, with a mini-setting, and rules guidance. 
• Stretch Goal 10 Support for a Virtual Table Top. 
• Stretch Goal 11 The Four Emperors Preview Adventure. 
• Stretch Goal 12  OpenQuest Patrons choose OpenQuest Next (the next OQ powered project) everyone gets 1st draft in pdf. 
• As a thank you to the generosity of the backers and the Master of Ducks (a unique special high tier reward that has been claimed), The Book of Ducks, a culture book including character options, culture details, a mini-setting and an adventure.
• There is a new reward for OQ Patrons and add-on for all other backers, called The Book of Patrons (a working title)  a collection of 25 NPC + rules for patronage. 

The main rulebook is due to be released early in 2021, with the rest of the stretch goals being delivered throughout 2021. 

Its the last day of funding.

One last crazzzzzy stretch goal , "the one where OpenQuest Patron backers vote on my next OQ powered project and everyone gets the first draft (at least) in pdf". I've lowered the funding goal to £13k which is achievable today.   

Remember there are add-ons, including the soon to go out of print The Company, OQ Classics Bundle (Life and Death, Savage North, and Crucible of Dragons).  the book of OpenQuest Patrons.

We are in the final week of the campaign, and just about to hit the OpenQuest Companion stretch goal - which will present a selection of extra and alternative rules for the game in a single book. 

As a thank you to the backers who have stuck with the campaign during its slow period (or the slump as us publishers call it), they will now all be getting a Duck based adventure with six pre-generated characters called Angry Ducks. This has now been upgraded to a full book , with the working title of The Book of Duck, which has been upgraded by the generosity of a backer who within minutes of me posting the following update pledged at the special or of a kind Mistress/Master of Ducks level.
