  1. @Mike M moved Secrets of Tibet from the Classic Cthulhu section to the 7th edition section of the website, so the product description should match this change. I believe that Secrets of Tibet states in the book itself that the supplement was designed for the 7th edition, so mentioning the 6th edition in the description is erroneous.
  2. I have to say that the 7th edition material is of a much higher production quality than what I have seen for the sixth edition. The 7th edition covers, interior art, and layout now match or surpass that of other major tabletop gaming studios like Wizards of the Coast, which Call of Cthulhu's releases in the recent past didn't achieve. Interestingly, the earliest CoC supplements for the 1st and 2nd editions are also high quality but then releases seemed to decline after that until rising to their current quality for the 7th edition. Any thoughts on why this happened?
  3. @Mike M FYI, the description for Secrets of Tibet still states 6th Edition Call of Cthulhu. Also, six out of the eleven products on the Classic Cthulhu Scenarios fail to state an edition at all which may confuse customers. I would make sure that all product descriptions explicitly state the edition of Call of Cthulhu for which it is intended.
  4. You're welcome. Note that the 'Other Details' for Secrets of Tibet states, "Version: 6th Edition Call of Cthulhu," so that description needs to be edited as well. https://www.chaosium.com/secrets-of-tibet/
  5. The old Secrets of Tibet supplement is listed for sale under '7th Edition Scenarios' on the website, but it is a sixth edition Call of Cthulhu product. https://www.chaosium.com/7th-edition-scenarios/ https://www.chaosium.com/secrets-of-tibet/ Secrets of Tibet is then listed again under 'Classic Cthulhu Scenarios' with the other sixth edition products. https://www.chaosium.com/classic-cthulhu-scenarios/
  6. In what years do the Berlin supplement scenarios take place?
  7. I am finishing up the 'Blackwater Creek' scenario for my group during our next session and one of the final scenes is of the Investigators being confronted by an angry mob of torch-wielding townsfolk. The scene will occur at night in the remote rural area of the Miskatonic Valley where the tiny village of Blackwater Creek is located. There will be no visible light during this mid-November, overcast evening other than the headlights of the Investigators' car, the Investigators' flashlights and lanterns, and the light from the burning torches and kerosene lamps of the infected mob. In Chapter 6 (Combat) of the Keeper Rulebook, page 113, there is a section on Firearm Attack Modifiers with conditions for adding both bonus dice and penalty dice to rolls. I thought it was odd that there is no specific modifier for using firearms at night or otherwise in poor lighting. The closest modifier to what I was searching for regarding this combat situation is "Cover and Concealment," for which there is a penalty die. Does anyone have any suggestions? Otherwise, I will just add a penalty die to all firearm attack rolls due to reduced visibility until the Investigators are in Point-Blank Range (a bonus die) of the mob to account for the lack of visibility. Is there a section in the 7th edition rules that I am missing on this topic?
  8. Fantasy Grounds support followed up just now, after their initial reply: "Hello Matt, It looks like they are all part of the Coc6E ruleset purchase. Any module written for 6E will be able to be loaded and used within CoC 7E. They will perform an automatic conversion within CoC 7E. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/product.php?id=DGA070 Please let me know if we can be of further assistance. Sincerely, Doug Davison SmiteWorks USA, LLC" I answered Mr. Davison and told him that only two of the four scenarios from the Starter Set are in the 6E ruleset module on Fantasy Grounds: "Four complete ready-to-play adventure scenarios: The Haunting, Edge of Darkness, The Madman, and Dead Man Stomp." I've never heard of "The Madman" before. But this is very good, I will be able to run Edge of Darkness on Fantasy Grounds Unity.
  9. Yes, there is so much more over at Fantasy Grounds - even the Masks of Nyarlathotep campaign! Fantasy Grounds support replied to my e-mail just now and said that they will look into getting the aforementioned scenarios onto their platform. I would really like to run "Edge of Darkness" as a virtual event...
  10. I will e-mail Fantasy Grounds support now.
  11. Can Chaosium get the Starter Set scenarios (Alone Against the Flames, Paper Chase, Edge of Darkness, and Dead Man Stomp) as well as The Lightless Beacon onto Fantasy Grounds as modules? As of now, these scenarios are only available on Roll20. Fantasy Grounds has a much better selection of CoC gaming material than Roll20 as well as probably being the better online tabletop platform, so I would only like to use FG going forward if possible.
  12. Everything went relatively well with my first online tabletop gaming session. Fantasy Grounds Unity impressed everyone with its features (e.g., FGU does all of the roll calculations for you and displays them onscreen) and all of the assets needed to run a Blackwater Creek scenario were available on the platform and could be shared with the players. Does anyone know if it is possible to upload a VLC or other format audio file to Fantasy Grounds Unity and play the content for the Investigators? I found these audio recordings with music of the Blackwater Creek Handouts (#1 - #6) and I want to use them during our online sessions. If not FGU, does Discord or Skype have this feature? Blackwater Creek Audio with Music
  13. I'm running my first Fantasy Grounds (Unity client) session this evening for my players - Blackwater Creek - due to the current social distancing policy.
  14. Take up Kevin's suggestion and make a Puritan era campaign as a separate prequel book to the main Colonial era book, but later of course after the first book is released. If Sixtystone Press has been tasked by Chaosium with breathing life into the Colonial era, then it would make sense that any books in that period would be published by you.
  15. Gundamentalist, since your publishing company is working on the Call of Cthulhu Colonial America setting, could you include both the late 17th century New England Puritan era as well as the project's original 18th century Revolutionary War era? As there will only be one go at bringing this setting to life, including both would appeal to players who want to experience both settings which are almost 100 years apart. Even if the Puritan setting requires its own companion book, please include this material.
  16. "Tails of Valor is the first collection of scenarios produced for Cathulhu using the 7th edition rule system..." Tails-of-Valor-Print-&-Digital-Combo
  17. After checking out Sixtystone Press on DriveThruRPG, I found out that the publisher has a mini-campaign setting of sorts in which the Investigators are cats! Cathulhu added to the second list above. Cathulhu on DriveThruRPG
  18. Of the four links in your signature, the only one that works is the one in German.
  19. Thanks for the reply, and for also dropping information about a Cthulhu sci-fi setting (looking forward to that one). Sixtystone Press doesn't seem very active; even their website is down. The publisher has a very limited output on DriveThruRPG: Sixtystone Press Chaosium may want to pick the Cthulhu Witch Trials project up instead so that the setting eventually has a well-developed release. If Cthulhu Dark Ages has enough players to support a campaign book, Cthulhu Witch Trials would probably have at least the same level of commercial success.
  20. Yes. Last night, the gaming store where my group of five Investigators and myself play Call of Cthulhu every other Saturday evening cancelled tabletop events for the foreseeable future. So, I e-mailed everyone via our Meetup page and said that we can still run CoC games over Fantasy Grounds. I am in the process of figuring out how to use this platform as well as determining how to integrate video chat into a Fantasy Grounds session.
  21. In addition to the 16th century Elizabethan England setting that has been mentioned by Chaosium as being in development, I would suggest two more settings as future projects. A late 17th century colonial New England setting centered around the Arkham Witch Trials would be amazing, imo, and probably the scariest of all of the Call of Cthulhu settings. "Cthulhu Witch Trials" would have great atmosphere, some incredible Investigator concepts ("Inquisitor," "Witch"), and would delve into characters mentioned by H.P. Lovecraft and the Mythos writers such as Keziah Mason and Abigail Prinn. This campaign setting would be worth doing just for the artwork. Cthulhu Rising already exists, but merits its own full supplement. As Chaosium's in-house science fiction RPG has been effectively cancelled for the foreseeable future, Cthulhu Rising could take its place to some extent and tap into the market for (horror) science fiction RPGs. This setting would combine concepts from Cthulhu Icarus as well, being partially set on Earth and its colonies on Mars and also set in outer space. An Alien/Total Recall/Event Horizon game is just waiting to happen... Cthulhu Witch Trials and Cthulhu Rising both merit at least a single, lengthy campaign book with a set of starter scenarios like the one recently published for Cthulhu Dark Ages. Adding the three aforementioned settings to Chaosium's roster would give players a good distribution of campaigns in almost every major period, from the ancient world to several centuries into the future. @Mike M et al., are these campaign settings that Chaosium might consider for production in the relatively near future?
  22. Convicts & Cthulhu is included in the second list, and I discuss why I didn't add the 'Reign of Terror' supplement as its own campaign setting in the above thread.
