It could be a number of different things, but in most cases for me it is a fanatical or extremist religion. They believe this is their way to heaven or favor with their god or patron. The leader has to be charismatic enough to gain the followers trust, or they will have been show proof of the "god's" existence. Or the leader or god could be using any form of mind control or blackmail. Or the cultists all just have very low self esteem and wish to die. Or they think very little of their fellow man and decided the world deserves to burn.

I personally think you are taking the rules too seriously. If you need a character to be a teacher at a college and they have a reasonably high skill level in the subject, they can do it. It still would be checks, and there are such things as bad teachers. When I run games, I do whatever works for the narrative. Just say if they have higher than 74% they can teach all higher grades, if you need a rule system to go off, but again the rules were made to make the game as smooth as possible for role-play and if you are ever in doubt or the system doesn't specify; you can simply make a call based on what you as Keeper think will work.

Why thank you, I have been taking business courses in my duel enrollment studies, plus I really will have no excess till my next acting job. Unless I try something different, but I like the way things are currently playing out with both my channel and my writing prospects. Third party licence sounds cool, but another fantasy game is not my ideal right now, which is why I've been asking what unique things Mythras brings to the table. And while I have been answered, I will likely tusy stick to the quickstart for now (unless of course the publishers would like to talk💀
