  1. Hi ya- As the title says, I am looking for any dreamlands adventures using the 7E rules or other editions is fine. I do have the old dreamlands book but I am not a big fan of those adventures. So if there any 3rd party or official adventures let me know. thanks
  2. Issue resolved, emailed my gamestore and they issued a pdf through the bits and mortar thing. Everything is all good and I am happy lol.
  3. Hi ya- I purchased my copy of A Time To Harvest at my local game store. How can I get the pdf? here is proof that I purchased a real copy:
  4. Howdy- Will the campaign and adventures be converted to 7E CoC or is this just a retro type of product for collectors?
  5. If you have Highway of Blood by Critical Hit publishing, they have an excellent tables on driving on page 75.
  6. My groups are more action oriented so I try to add a more action packed scenarios to my campaigns. Good examples of action packed scenarios is Darkness Beneath the Hill, Madness in London town, the Curse of Nineveh and alot more.
  7. If you have not heard of it, there is a supplement out called Hudson and Brand set in 1890's England. It is very good and has good support. It is made for 7E CoC. here is a pic of the books.
  8. Howdy- On utub, I saw that chaosium posted a sneak peek at their book Children of Fear. The utub vid has since been taken down. So I assume the physical copy is still not ready to order? I see on Chaosiums product page it is only being offered as a pdf still. Scott
  9. Another Excellent vid good sir. Much appreciated.
  10. 2nd edition? The boxed rules set? Why on earth would you want to reprint that when there is so much other great stuff out there. &e CoC has such a great layout and artwork that makes it one of its selling points to play. Why not reprint Spawn of Azathoth or something.
  11. I dunno, I think killing players off or driving them permanently mad in each adventure is what gives CoC a bad rap with many other players. I approach GM'ing Pulp CoC from a Brandon Fraisure The Mummy perspective. Have fun, the players are the heros and like the mummy movies or Indiana Jones, nobody should die or go mad.
  12. Yup, I was able to get on the pre order list, got both the book and pdf.
  13. Howdy- I am currently running two masks of Nyarlathotep campaigns (wanted to run one but I had so many applicants I felt bad and decided to run two campaigns and its kicking my butt). I use the pulp rules so using guns in my campaign is cool because it is two fisted action anyway. And believe me, in MoN there is more RP then gun play believe it or not. Still, guns are a fun thing to include and if you are using pulp rules, there is a very nifty rule for for the bad guys called "Look out Master" where the mook throws himself in front of the main boss. This has pissed my players off a number of times but they also laugh too at the poor sap that is getting gunned down. Bottom line, run the game as you AND your players will enjoy.
  14. I too would be interested in other kickstarters for CoC. I know there is a Vietnam one but I cant find it anymore.
  15. I wish I could do the same for D&D, so everytime one of my goofy players casts cantrip they suffer sanity lose lol.
  16. I am running two masks of Nyarlathotep campaigns on roll20. I wanted to just run one but I felt bad for all the people that applied for the campaign that I decided to run two of them. All my players agree that CoC is much more easier the D&D to play. Alot less dice rolling and if there is a dice rolling, it is with guns ablazing lol. Anyway, I am so happy to see the Best RPG ever made climbing the rungs to being more and more popular. My players always tell me the reason they did not want to try CoC is because they heard characters die way too easy. I then tell them, thats just very bad GM'ing. Anyway keep up the good work.
  17. Howdy- I suggest joining the FB page called Masks of Nyarlathotep. It is a great source of material for DM's.
  18. Running Masks will be alot of work. I would skip over the Prologue because it does not really give your players a good grounding in the campaign and it happens a few years prior to the actual beginning of MoN. I would say make New York your main focus at campaign start. Do a few pre campaign adventures in NYC to get a good footing on the lay of the land, in fact I would recommend doing side adventures first in each chapter of MoN before tackling the main campaign content, this way you will be acclimated to the area you are attempting to GM.
  19. Howdy- So is this some sort of monster manual for CoC?
  20. Howdy- Thanks all for your replies, I found a set of U-Boat plans and used for the scenario The Derelict. Well actually I just used the creature from the Derelict module. The players were on their way to England aboard the Tramp Steamer Nostromous, strangely enough, they found their course changed and heading to the Artic. It turns out a distress call was picked up by the ships commo officer and determined that it was coming from an old WW I sub perhaps abandoned on one of the icebergs or something. The players end up being volunteered by their employer (Erica Carlyle) to go and investigate the sub. The sub is called the SM-UB-65, lost at sea just after the great war ended. The players end up in a game of cat and mouse as they have reawakened the slumbering monstrosity that had slayed the crew. They also find a journal with the entries of the capt. It talked of bringing a strange egg absurd the boat by direction of the Imperial German Science Corps. But with the temps warm on SM 65, the creature awakened and wrecked havac with the crew. The players though were a smart bunch and managed to shoot the creature up and blow up the U-Boat. That is basically the short and sweet version of the side adventure I ran. The players had a alot of fun with one of them calling the scenario Predator on a U Boat. The creature I was the SCIAPOD, great footed and hungering thing. Once thanks to all who provided info on UB layouts much appreciated.
  21. Pulled the trigger on Getting HotOE today. Both pdf and print copy. Also ordered Stillwater for the Darker trails old west RPG. Thanks again Chaosium for reprinting HotOE much appreciated.
  22. Howdy- I plan to run my players through a U-Boat adventure and was wondering if there any good deck plans for a world war I u-boat. I have done some googling but what I have found is most scans are of poor quality or just not what I am looking. thanks for any answers. scott
