Can I suggest to tweak this phrase's meaning in order to make morokanths adhere to everyone's expectations? I mean, if one wants vegetarian morokanths, one can claim that this religious practice requires eating herd-men maybe once every year. If one, instead, wants their morokanths to be carnivores, well, they can argue that "yes yes, morokanths are herbivores, but you know, because of "religious practice", they are required to eat meat every eight hours".

Hi everybody. As you probably already know (as y'all are way better versed in Gloranthan lore than me), Dara Happans conceive the soul as being composed by six parts, and the Lunars added a seventh one, the transcendent portion. So, we know the seven portions of Sedenya, and Yelm's original six. So, first question, did the Lunars add a seventh portion to Yelm's soul (and, in that case, who is he/she?), or is that something that only Illuminated beings (which Yelm, ironically, is not) receive? Moreover, I suppose that Dendara (and, somewhat indirectly, Ernalda), should have a similar division of the soul, right? From a Lunar viewpoint, I suppose that Hon Eel "discovered" that Ernalda's seventh portion is She Who Waits, but what about the other six?

King of Sartar introduces the Feathered Horse Queens with a myth regarding the Pure Horse People versions of Ernalda an her sisters. Eneera Tor became the first FHQ in 1455. Here, a connection to Queen Bruvala of Esrolia is hinted, and 1455 is also the year in which the Shakers priestesses incarnated Sorana Tor into their High priestess. So, are these "historical" events simply an echo of the myth above (an example of synchronicity, without causal relationships between them), or are there some events or hidden meanings I am missing? Is the death of Erantha Gor in some way related to the above? Also, citing from Glorantha Sourcebook (or from the previous link), Isn't the wording a bit strange? I mean, she became Queen of Dragon Pass, hence she proved to be the incarnation of Sorana Tor? Also, how could she prove to be the incarnation of Sorana Tor if, during her life, someone else already was recognized as such? At first I thought that, maybe, "incarnation of Sorana Tor" is just a title, but isn't it odd in a world with real incarnations?

Yes, I can imagine, and in fact I was a bit reluctant to post about this subject. The fact is that my players' clan is going to be raided soon, so I just wanted to know what degree of in-canon plot armor their younger siblings enjoy. However, I'm sorry if anybody got upset. Hi everybody, firt post here. When an orlanthi clan raids its neighbours, does it take kids as hostages/thralls? If so, in the former case, how is their ransom calculated? In the latter, who is responsible for their initiation rites (if they are ever initiated at all)?
