  1. I found them. https://www.kirkd.co.uk/blog/index.php/call-of-cthulhu-the-derelict/ Edit: Actually these are not the pregens that come with the book.
  2. Does anyone have a link for this? I got the book as a gift with no pdf.
  3. Thanks! The Derelict was one of my favourites skimming through anyway.

    Dreamlands 7e

I have high hopes for this. It could be the perfect setting for a campaign where players can easily drop in and out.
  5. Which Petersen's Abominations scenario is the best to start with for new players? I've GM'ed fewer than 20 sessions and they haven't played CoC. I think one of them has played other RPG's.
  6. If you're not running it, you seriously don't want to have this awesome campaign spoiled for you. I'm about half way through the campaign having just done the Iceland chapter and now the party is going back to New York. I have a couple of questions about the Mafia scenario. - If the party kill Bresciani (Hlysa) before interrorgating it and finding out about Ardito's plot to blow up the Caduceus building, what do I do? It definitely seems like the kind of thing they would do; they did it in North Borneo. Should I just have the Mafia destroy the tower regardless? Do they still lose sanity for failing to save the innocent people inside? - Ardito is outside the Caduceus building in a car, but the book says that he tries to flee on foot. Why does he get out of the car? It's not a huge deal, but I am a bit confused.
  7. Thanks David. That's probably what I'll end up doing. If anyone does have access to the source code though, that would be very useful.
  8. I really like the 7th edition character sheet and I want to edit it to try out a new house rule. What I want to do is change the base skill values in the brackets (to be based off characteristics like int or dex). Is there an easy way to do this with the 7th edition character sheet? Microsoft Word didn't work. I don't intend to publish it or infringe copyright in any way.
  9. On the pdf, 28 and 29 say "Make a roll" without saying what skill to check against. I am not sure what skills they are supposed to be.
  10. A lot of people criticize fudging and a lot of people criticize not fudging. To me, it depends on how you see your campaign. If you think the story aspect of the campaign is more important then you should take control of the narrative and fudge rolls. If you see the game aspect as more important than that then you shouldn't fudge. That's the way I see it.
  11. I have multiple baddies with the spell shrivelling which is in the Keeper's rule book. When casting either the basic or deeper version of shrivelling, you have to choose the amount of damage you do and expend that number of magic points. Ideally for the caster, it would deal damage equal to either the major wound or the number of hit points the target has left. As the Keeper, I know both of these figures but I do not think the baddie would. How do I make my NPC's cast this spell without meta gaming?
  12. I would roll in the open in the couple of sessions we had before the lockdown. My players all rolled in the open too and there were no signs of cheating. He does move the camera but it takes time and without seeing the roll, he could have just placed the dice on a low number without rolling. I think you guys are right and I'm going to have to use public rolling software.
  13. I'm a GM running Call of Cthulhu 7e. Because of the pandemic, my group started playing via Zoom. Since some of us have to use our phones and it is easier to roll dice, we do not use a public roller. I thought this would be fine, because I trust my players. Last session, almost one half of one of my players' rolls were extreme successes including all of the important ones. I'm not sure if this means he is cheating but it is certainly suspicious. Maybe he is truthful but has a biased d10. What should I do to prevent cheating in an online session?
  14. Two Headed Serpent Spoilers. For Keepers only. Do Rose Meadham, Dr Goncalves and Tyrannish know the deeper version of the spell shrivelling or just it's basic form? It feels weird to me that Gocalves could kill any other character in the campaign in one hit. Loving the campaign so far btw.
