I would like to start a Masks campaign on Roll 20 using Pulp rules. I'd love for the campaign to be character/story driven for 4-5 investigators. Due to the length of it, we would meet weekly on Roll 20/Discord. Hello everyone! I've been running CoC for a long time, mostly one shots or 2-3 session scenarios. Now I'd like to step up and run my first campaing. Although I love reading scenarios and doing all the prep work, my free time is limited, so I think it could be a good idea to pick up a long campaing, prepare and run it, instead of having to think what to run next, checking scenarios that I don't like and wasting time jumping from one to another until I find one that suits my taste (and my players' taste as well). With all that said, this is my starting point: -

Fantasy Flight Game's Masks of Nyarlathotep Expansion for Eldritch Horror is now out in general release! And there's a flyer in the box about the forthcoming new edition of Masks for Call of Cthulhu, with a link to this landing page: https://www.chaosium.com/masks. When Chaosium's new edition of Masks is released, it will feature a similar shout-out to the FFG board game. This is all part of a closer collaboration between Chaosium and Fantasy Flight Games. -
I plan to run the new edition of MASKS when it comes out. I also planned to introduce Jackson Elias as a friendly NPC in current games, so that his death carries some weight once we get rolling on the big one. I know there's a Peru chapter in the new edition, which will feature Elias interacting with the investigators. Does anyone know yet whether or not this chapter is meant to introduce Elias to the players for the first time, or if it still presumes an established relationship with them? If the former, I'll hold off on introducing him on my own ...

Has anyone run Masks of Nyarlathotep with the 7th Edition rules, and if so are there any problem areas I should be ready to deal with? Thanks
