  1. Hi Just to let you know that corrected PDFs for the following books have been uploaded to the Chaosium website (go via your Completed Orders), DriveThru RPG, and Bits & Mortar. Call of Cthulhu Rulebook Investigator Handbook (well, this will be uploaded within the next 3-4 hours) Keeper Screen Pack (Keeper Reference Booklet) Doors to Darkness Pulp Cthulhu The Two-Headed Serpent The Grand Grimire of Cthulhu Mythos Magic.
  2. This thread will post errata for Call of Cthulhu books/PDFs as and when updates occur. Once PDFs have been updated, they are replaced on the Chaosium website, DriveThru RPG, and Bits & Mortar.
  3. I'm reading through Pulp Cthulhu in preparation for running a low pulp MoN. I noticed two different explainations of the pulp talent: Resilient From the Talent list: (p25) Resilient: may spend Luck points to shrug off sanity loss, on a one-for-one basis. From the Luck Spend to Reduce Sanity Loss Example: (p61) Dirk also has the Resilient Talent; his player decides to spend 10 further luck to reduce sanity loss by 5. Not to be a stickler, as I could make the call based on what works best for my game but was this intentional or is there a specific intent for the Resilient Talent?
  4. Hello forum, just a few things I found in the Revolution d100 pdf. p.45: third paragraph references to a flow chart for advanced combat. The reference is to the table shown on page 52. p.48: Roll for Effect table, 'Attacker' and 'Defender' should be exchanged when reading the outcome p.48: third paragraph, change 'thread' to 'threat' p.50 (explanation): 'Effect of a Simple Conflict' refers to the Combat example on p.41 in the fourth paragraph, not to the example on p.49 p.83: Determining Resolution Points should read: "Calculate basic Resolution Points by adding up a character’s DEX and CON, and divide by two, rounding up." 5. Okay, I've logged a number of errors and omissions since the release of the rules last week. A number of these Chaosium was able to incorporate quickly before the book was printed. Not all of them, sadly. I'm talking with them now about getting the PDF updated so those of you with it will be able to get the corrected copy. You should all get some kind of alert when that happens. The top post on this forum has the link to the Google Doc where errata will be kept going forward. But, for those reading this, here it is: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1o8MZHsodx3zzFSXGSNaz80DfCZzhuMjjgXILy4L12U4/edit?usp=sharing You'll see that it's nothing game-breaking. Just a couple of little omissions, and a handful of things that were incorrect, or explained poorly. If you have any questions in the future, or find any other errors, post them here, or email to magic-world@chaosium.com Game on!

  8. This is NOT a post critical of the supplement. In most respects, I love it... a great world to plunder, the stunts system is genius and Voudou is a great magic system ripe for some rich roleplaying rather than the usual flash-bang effects. But as I run it for my group I am finding numerous issues, typos and stuff just plain missing from the rules. i.e. at a "rules on paper" level it is far from perfect! Some endemic "typo like" issues are in there which I can ignore: The author indicated that it was a mash up of 2 background - one magical, one historical and it shows periodically. Sections of rules that need to be together are spread between chapters. The layout is "challenging" at times, but a proper read and judicious use of post-it tabs and some PDF printing helps gets around that Also there are a lot of "See page XX" references and references to "Bokors and Broadsides" (the old name for Blood Tide!). Now I know it is teh oild name for the system I know the game is referring to itself and not some weird supplement I can't find. So since this is the official "Chaosium" community and the author is on here I thought we could collectivity help to fix it in a hope of building a bit of an errata or help the author with a second edition with some more annoying problems resolved. If anyone has any house rules, links, scenarios or useful tools relevant to Blood Tide - feel free to add them below. I will post a couple below to get started...
  9. I just wanted to check-in and see if the errata thread, that was started back over @ Glorantha.com, was ever compiled into an official errata. If not, no worries -- just checking in due to the forum switch over. I'm really starting to dig into HQ:G and am watching Yohann Delalande's awesome HQG game on YouTube and wanted to nail down the rules as I read through them for a second time. Thanks, Jonathan
