Enter... Project Z!

My best guess is something like Mazinger Z/Tranzor Z -- the villains were the Underground Empire and the heroes had fighting machines in the form of giant mecha.

My second guess is something like Thunderbirds Are Go! or one of the other Anderson properties. Dunno.

I will say the image in the second question looks steampunkish to me.

That remind me... I really want a trip to the moon for my players.. mm.. not sure where I could insert it.....

Well you just be careful who you say that around.  Some do not take Thumper as a guiding spirit and might have a suggestion...

And after this please do not accuse me of bad jokes any more :) Now this is what one would call having a dirty mind...

(in fact, I had almost replied that I felt sorry for Lloyd's players if their GM had such thoughts, but I made my Restraint check)

It just occurred to me, you said accused, my good man, saying your wordplay were groan worthy was a compliment, but with talk like that...

I was thinking Lost in Space, but that is "more than 40 years".

Then, Atomic Robo, but that is not old enough.

Hmm.  Lost in Space actually works:  he said "at least" 40.

I'd bet against Atomic Robo:  it already got RPG'ed (by Evil Hat, for Fate) and did remarkably poorly on the market; EH actually disposed of a bunch, I think...

Bill the barbarian enters game, picks up dice to roll SAN

Tosses them carelessly over his fur pelted shoulder whilst drawling, “...meh, overrated!"

And the final answer is now on Facebook

Winners of the guess game:

Loz scored the first near miss (right guess, wrong series), followed by Vincenzo B on Facebook who named Z Gundam. Atgxtg and several others did hit the spot (the positioning of the Z was a good hint and they did not miss it), but they all failed to guess the entire truth. It is not just Mazinger Z...
