You cannot go 'through the Curse' ( they've tried that apparently). Working around it might mean like some one else said ' Ernalda said "There is always another way", what about creating someone thing else. While I know only a little of the Uz, seeking to twist the curse into something useful might be a good way, we know it affects the Mistress race's ability to give birth to others like themselves, so perhaps it is time to take humans, and raise them, make them outside the curse, but giving them the right 'stuff' to be ' surface trolls', effectively begin to shape and mold them with some of those Troll values.
