But assuming Ring Armor does existing in Glorantha it might not be all that noisy. All we know is that rings were sewn to a leather backing, but not how big or how widely spaces the rings are, or if they overlapped or were interlinked. When I was working of expanding the armor protection in Pendragon to include a few more of the transitional armors the problems weren't that these armors weren't good, but that they wasn't a lot of wiggle room to fit them in between mail and plate.
