Storm Khan
So, if ever a fictional character deserved multiple song dedications, it has to be Jar-Eel. Here is my contribution via utube link, the song She's Unreal from album "Subliminal Sandwich," by Meat Beat Manifesto: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-RAnbUvX1k Anybody else? Since we are stumbling onto the 3rd rail of human sexuality, it is Storm Khan's stated position that sexual preference is not a matter for ethical judgement in the real (or any) world. Anyone's choice of a partner is their business, and their business alone. The only issue I have with Lunars, as presented, is their willingness to weaponize chaos. That is a BIG issue, however.

Nick Brooke
TO BE CLEAR: the song "Jolene" is about a captivatingly beautiful woman with auburn hair, perfect skin, green eyes and a two-syllable name beginning with "J." Why would anyone think of Jar-eel the Razoress in that context? Beats me. I considered altering the lyrics e.g. to describe her explicitly as "friendly and happy, clever and beautiful, holy and deadly" or to single out her "wry humour and pensive wit," but in the end I clove to the Gidlow principle: if the unmodified lyrics are already perfect, don't change a thing. Back in your box, Dangerduck. 1 Quote Community Ambassador - Jonstown Compendium, Chaosium, Inc. Rodney Dangerduck
@Nick BrookeWhen asked by somebody else why Jolene, you did not reply "because it's about a beautiful woman" ... (generally matching Jar-Eel). You gave a snarky reply, as anybody can see up above, because it's about a lesbian love affair. I have nothing against people, imaginary or not, loving whom they please. But if you ask 100 Gloranthans who Jar-Eel loves, 99 would say Beatpot. Likewise, the great song "I'll be your Emmylou" does not sing about Johny Cash's affairs, it describes him and June Cash. Emmylou Harris and Graham Parsons probably had other lovers, but it describes them. A love song about Jar-Eel should be focused on her and Beatpot.
