GianniVacca
Mongoose mention a quasi-historic setting on their site: Mongoose Publishing : For All Your Gaming Needs ... I hesitate between 'hurray' and 'uh oh'. What are your thoughts? rust
I hesitate between 'hurray' and 'uh oh'. What are your thoughts? I may well be completely wrong, but my first thought was "Warhammer 40 k - the Inquisition". If it really goes in that direction, instead of something a bit more "historical", I am prepared to forego the experience ... Quote "Mind like parachute, function only when open." seneschal
My first thought was "Da'Vinci Code, the RPG." Hmmm, indeed. Or, they're trying to out-Cthulhu Cthulhu.

Mine too, which pretty much set the seal on my having no real interest. Nick
soltakss
It doesn't sound my cup of tea, really. The medieval setting is good, being a member of a clandestine Order of the Church going against supernatural beings doesn't appeal to me at all. It sounds like a cross between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Robin Hood, which of itself isn't a bad thing. However, the good thing is Deus Vult, Stupor Mundi, Merrie England and Val de Loupe should all be broadly compatible and usable with each other. soltakss
There is a preview at http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/pdf/rq2dvpre.pdf?PHPSESSID=6cd8e76b53dc69a76117127158c93c22 which looks OK, to a certain extent. kaddawang
Meh..it doesn't look half-bad. Not at all. Actually it looks like something straight up my alley. Cthulhu Dark Ages meets Delta Green with a dash of WHFR. Add conversion-notes and shake. Serve chilled, along with some (certified) nuts>:->
