I wasn't actually fond of the Jakaleel Sorcery school; but I loved the idea that "Jakaleel" encompassed a variety of spirit societies with different foci and different approaches that might look superficially similar (i.e., all Spirit magic) but ideologically cover different approaches and utilize different Secrets of the Spirit Plane.

Unfortunately, he did not survive long enough to see that.

But then, securing Karse for himself gave Fazzur the main trade route on a silver platter. Whichever genius came up with the duck bill artefact idea in 1613 had ended any hope for successful use of the Creek-Stream - Lyksos river route anyway, so the overland route along the ancient river bed of both Creek-Stream and Sshorg was it. And the failed logistics during the biggest cataclysm within the last two wanes were only a pretext. IMO if there was one professional military man in the early phase of the Hero Wars, it was Fazzur.

Given that the Lunars are great at "discovering" that some local god is "really" an aspect of one of the Lunar core gods, their answer to the question "Is Etyries worshipped in Esrolia ?" is certainly this:

   "Yes, but they just don't know it yet."

though tha tsort of "nope, you local god ist just really our foreign god with a coat of paint' approach with a big mystic push to force it true seems dangerously close to things like the Godess Switch. There might be some problems in the long term....
