I'd expect Black Shamrock to be the experts on videogame announcements, when to hype, etc; and Chaosium to he sensible enough to follow their lead.

In general, though, this adheres to Chaosium's policy of not making meaningless "announcements."
The status was "in development, still proceeding largely as expected."
That's STILL the status, so there's nothing new to announce...

Or so I understand the general Chaosium policy.

It's true I did. Felt it was original and tonally appropriate, as well as fitting the world and the character.
