P84 Why do a defensive stance instead of a reactive parry and lose the committed CA? Parry: The Adventurer can attempt to deflect an incoming attack. As well as being a reactive response, this action can also be declared in advance of an expected attack by adopting a defensive stance. However, once committed, the CA cannot be converted back to any other type of action and is lost if not used before his next Strike Rank occurs. Jason Farrell Posted February 8, 2023 Share Posted February 8, 2023 I don't know what the MRQ2 is so I can't check it, but is it possible that with a defensive stance you don't get an increasing penalty for each parry beyond the first?
