Erol of Backford
Anyone venture to guess how much lightening or how many thunderbolts would be needed to destroy Horalin's Blackthorn Tree? What might Horalin's power be? How far could she travel from her tree? Also since she is dead and bound to her tree (by Delecti) would she become dead if a Lead Cross was brought to her tree? Per RQB 197 5D6, so if you want her to powerful, put her near the top of that range. 10 hours ago, Erol of Backford said: How far could she travel from her tree? As RQB 197, she's all the abilities of a dryad, so no further than the edge of her grove - which can be as big as you like. 10 hours ago, Erol of Backford said: Also since she is dead and bound to her tree (by Delecti) would she become dead if a Lead Cross was brought to her tree? Yes, but you'd need to get to the 20 meter mark, and the ghosts would start attacking at 50m. There are likely more defences. 10 hours ago, Erol of Backford said: Anyone venture to guess how much lightening or how many thunderbolts would be needed to destroy Horalin's Blackthorn Tree? I'd treat it as a large war tree (immobile)) so SIZ 50+, giving its trunk HP may be 40. So averaging it out, may be 4 thunderbolts. Although I'd likely rule that as it's damaged as a weapon, only 3 points per strike, so 14 thunderbolts. Lightning would be more effective as it could set the tree on fire. Suppose nothing stops her from having some sort of allied spirit or could she be an undead shaman? 12 hours ago, David Scott said: ghosts would start attacking at 50m That is always a problem, spirit block could help maybe if it were strong enough. Would a Spirit Guardian add to your MP in defense, its what the name seems to imply? 12 hours ago, David Scott said: large war tree (immobile) Maybe it could be mobile, that'd be a twist, also likely some enchantments on it and or Horalin. Maybe she doesn't die if the tree does but possibly it'd stop any more of the swamp rods from being made...
